Roman civilization has meant the most for west,ofc they copied most of it from the Greek when they conquered them but still...they knew how to conquer!!!

But Germany will probably be my favorite team in civ.

I know a lot of people think the Russians are the worst off, but the +1 Food to plains I think is going to be huge. Especially if you get a granary soon.

it mostly depends on what map you are on if there a lot of water pick england or spain and if it is mostly land
pick the aztecs but in the end you won't because it's going to be me HAHAHAHAHAHA lol

Ghandi, I always play him as the most warlike possible for a conquest victory.

Indians. Being able to use all resources is a fantastic bonus.

Rome's Republic and settlers from the start is a great bonus too.

i was going play as the USA in the demo but i didn't let me cause ya know it's a demo and i decided i would play as to what my Heritage was when i first get the Game

Japan and China will own in the early game.

Japan is my favorite. +1 food from sea tiles will allow for tech spamming right off the bat while still growing your cities.

And China's +1 population for all new cities is also awesome. You'll be able to instantly do double the production/science etc of your opponents early on.

You will never know how the map is before you star playing so that doesnt work. I also think that the amount of water tiles is about the same.

I'm rolling with the Zulu.

All of their upgrades seem to provide healthy advantages that can't be earned by other civs. They also seem to be one of the most flexible civs because their era bonuses lend themselves to any type of win.
