Is there a map generator for single player?

I loved the demo, but It is kind of scripted. Now that maybe because it is a demo, but I hope that the final release has it to where every time you start a new game that the location you start in and the map is different. That is what keeps civilization so fresh all the time. I havent seen anything on this topic thanks for any input.

yes, the actual game is supposed to have somewhere around a million different possible maps!

in the final version every map will be randomly generated.

Of course, otherwise it'd not be a proper Civilization without a map generator.

There definately is going to be one.... dont worry we wont be stuck with just one map, like the demo
