    welcome to our third forum giveaway! from now until June 6th, i'll be accepting entries in this thread for the contest. on the 6th, i'll shut down the thread and pick the lucky winners at random.

    please note in your entry if you don't have a 360, so i don't give you a faceplate if you don't want one. also, i am out of men's medium shirts, so if you are that size and win, you'll have to pick between small and large! (they are american apparel tees, if you want to run out and figure out your size.)

    Starting: + 1 fishing
    Ancient: + 1 religion + 1 to water cannon technology
    Medieval: + 1 Metal Ship Building & - 1 horses
    Industrial: + 25 % to religion + Air Craft Technology
    Modern: + Air Craft Carrier Building
    Unique Units: + First sicilian Air Craft Fleet with + 20 % power, Water cannon Units get extra 5 % defense

    Don't need either giveaway since I got a great faceplate everyone likes. Let me know what you think though.

    Medieval: +2 Attack Archers (air attack)
    Industrial: Receive The Superdome, +50% happiness
    Modern: +5% interest on gold
    Unique Units: The Superdome in place of the Cathedrals, Fleur-di-Lis F15 plane (For those of you who dont know what a fleur-di-lis is. It is the logo on the Saints helmet)

    Achievement: Who Dat Say Gonna Beat Dem Saints!?! Win as the Saints Nation 15 points

    Unfortunately, the Heinz Field Wonder negates all Superdome bonuses.

    Ancient Peru as described in Indiana Jones 4

    Civ name: Ancient Peru (as told by George Lucas)

    Starting: Starts with world map (the aliens took pictures on the way down)
    Ancient: Enemy units cannot retreat (bolas are so useful)
    Medieval: +50% Culture (aliens love stealing...um, collecting cultural artifacts)
    Industrial: Enemy riflemen get +1 attack bonus (sucks to be magnetic!)
    Modern: -50% spaceship component construction costs (just copy the flying saucers under your cities!)
    Unique Units: Blowpipe hunter replaces archer; Flying saucer death ray (a la "Independence Day") replaces Nuke

    p.s. I'd prefer a T-shirt (Large) since I don't have an XBox myself, and would have to give the cover to a friend.

    Civ Name: HockeyTown (Yes, I'm a Red Wings fan )
    Civ Leader: Steve Yzerman

    Starting: All Warriors begin at Veteran status (Obviously because of the Red Wings experience in the Stanley Cup Finals)
    Ancient: +25% Gold Production (Comes from an excellent Front Office)
    Medieval: All units have 10% health increase (Comes from the likes of Gordie Howe and Chris Chelios, who are some of the oldest men to play the game)
    Industrial: +25% Wonder Production (Again, comes from the number of Stanley Cups won by the wings)
    Modern: +50% Culture (By now, HockeyTown Nation is so large that there are Detroit Red Wings fans everywhere you go)
    Unique Units: Sniper replaces Rifleman (+20% First Strike Chance); "Octopus" replaces Submarine (+1 Movement)

    Ancient: +2 food from deserted areas
    Medieval: 25% healing after winning battles
    Industrial: 50% faster Temple construction
    Modern: +1 attack for all units
    Unique Units: Roccan warrior monk replaces warrior (they help heal other units)

    Okay, let's get wacko with it!

    Civilization: The United Democratic Republic of Britannia

    Leader: Morris Micklethwaite.....(a Lancashire born pigeon fancier, and one time runner-up on Britain's Got Talent!).

    Starting: +1 culture, due to the 'pigeon post' being used as a means of communication.

    Ancient: -1 health, due to pigeon droppings and bird flu, but +1 food due to the extra fertilizer that's available.

    Medieval: Our first UU....The Queen's Own Black Pudding Fusiliers; (a highly trained Fusil bearing regiment, that can fire deadly black pudding projectiles over tremendous distance).

    Industrial: +3 population in all cities, due to there being no t.v around at the time.

    Modern: +10 unemployment, and consequently, +10 defence (Militia)

    Unique Units: Inflatable nuclear submarines, Black Pudding Fusiliers, and the mass unemployed (Militia).

    If I should win I would love a face plate!

    Gotta love these topics

    Ok, here are mine:

    England

    Starting bonus: +1 sea units movement - England has always been a sea nation. Its superior navy was always one step ahead the others.
    Ancient: +1 trade in sea tiles. Another definning aspect of England: a trading nation.
    Medieval: Archers / longbowmen have double attacks (Gaellic archer).
    Industrial: Free great scientist (the English sparked the industrial revolution afterall!)
    Modern: + 50% gold and culture production in capital. (London has become the Number one European stock center as well as the center of many modern cultural movements like the hippism or the punk)

    Germany

    Starting bonus: Automatic upgrade for elite and veteran units
    Ancient: -50% to the production of warriors (the fearsome germanic barbaric tribes that fought the Romans. Not a great bonus but then again, Germany was very irrelevant during ancient times)
    Medieval: Gaings Printing press tech (a middle sized bonus and a quite historically accurate one)
    Industrial: Every mechanized unit can attack twice (2WW and all that jazz)
    Modern: Research centers (if they aren´t in the game, universities then) gives +50% of production (nowadays Germany is the industrial and reseach center of the EU)

    Brazil

    Starting bonus: +1 food to jungle (for obvious reasons)
    Ancient: Starts with pottery (one of the most characteristic tech that their indigenous tribes developed, and one weak bonus to compensate for the late era ones)
    Medieval: +1 food one each special resource square (there was a lot of agricultural development during the Portuguese colonization... due to slavery ¬¬U)
    Industrial: Roads cost 50% less (it was the age when most of Brazil´s infrastructure was built)
    Modern: +1 production to sea tiles (since it seems that now most of the brazil´s coasts are full of petrol)

    Medieval: +1 trade along rivers over 3 spaces long
    Industrial: +2 hammer from Iron

    Unique Building: 3M (Replaces labratory)
    Unique Unit: Farmer (Replaces Worker)

    Starting: one great person (Liquid Snake)
    Ancient: +1 attack for all units
    Medieval: +1 swordmen combat skill
    Industrial: -2 movement(every unit)
    Modern: receive knowledge about atomic weapons
    Unique Units: Tank becomes Metal gear, Battleship becomes Bismarck class

    I basically wanted a civilization that is made for those who want to have 1 city only. The people believe that they should only live in one city located at a holy spot. This could make the game interesting by having one player (AI or human) choose to work on this only city. It would require a different strategy than going at lots of smaller cities with no bonuses.

    Starting: Starts with access to all resources
    Ancient: Units receive 50% more experience when near the first city
    Medieval: All units gain +2 movement when near the first city
    Industrial: +5 defense when defending in the first city
    Modern: +50% culture (as a result of modern thinkers having other ideas)
    Unique Units: All units wear a tunic with the city symbol on it to show their devotion to it.

    It's hard to say exact numbers though, as we haven't played CivRev yet and therefore we don't know what a fair number would be:P

    Civilization Name: Knights Hospitaller of Malta

    Starting: Founds a new religon
    Ancient: + Gold from Religon
    Medieval: 1 + Mounted Units Momement and less cost on Templar Knights and Templars
    Industrial: + Sience from Religon
    Modern: + Production from Religon Buildings
    Unique Units: Knight becomes Templar Knight and Swordman becomes Temple warrior
