360: Black bars on 4:3 via VGA

    Hi there.

I don't get it. Shouldn't Bioshock run full screen on a 4:3 monitor? I play with my 19" PC-Monitor in 1024x768 and horizontal FOV lock turned off via VGA-cable but I have two black bars. Is there any possibility to fix this?

    Greetings

Isn't the 4:3 setting only apply from higher resolutions then 1280*1024? Not sure though...

    What do you mean exactly?

1024x768 ist the hightest 4:3 resolution the 360 can display. 1280x1024 is 5:4, thus the image would be squished.

2K-Support told me to change my TV's resolution to 720p or even to 1080p. Well, I actually wrote them that I have a PC monitor and thus cannot change the monitor's resolution... But at least they answered.

Does anybody have similar problems? Could this be a VGA-cable issue?
