Limited Edition BioShock contest

For anyone who hasn't pre-ordered your Limited Edition copy of BioShock yet (or is just generally interested), I'm helping run a contest where we are giving away 5 copies.

All you have to do is submit questions for an interview with 2K Elizabeth (which will be happening this Wednesday, July 18, at 7:30 PM Eastern). 2K Elizabeth has graciously agreed to talk about women in the gaming industry and how she became involved with BioShock and the Cult of Rapture community. At the end of the interview, 2K Elizabeth will choose five questions to answer from those that were submitted by the public, and the people who submitted those questions will win the LE copies!

So if you have any questions you would like to ask, please private message them to me here on the forum as soon as possible. I will add them to our database and they will remain anonymous until the winning questions are chosen.

If you want to sit in on the interview as it happens, you're welcome to do so! Just message me for information on how you can do that.

Cool. A couple of questions for you tho': Who are you, who are you writing for, and is the competition open internationally?

I'm a staff member on an IRC network that is running this contest. I am also the one who will be conducting the interview (which will be held on that network).

It's okay if people send in questions but don't know what IRC is, since the contest doesn't depend on IRC at all.

International Cult members are welcome to enter as long as I don't receive any information saying that we aren't allowed to ship LE copies internationally. Of course, if I do receive something saying that, we'll have to limit it to US residents. Since we're the ones paying the shipping fees, the shipping cost won't be a deciding factor, so it's only up to whether the LE copies are allowed overseas.

I'm sorry, I completely missed this when I replied to the other post! I tried to be very mindful of the questions in that thread when I went through our questions. There are a couple of similar questions to give people insight into how Elizabeth got her current job, but those background questions are just for the benefit of other communities that are interested in the interview. There should be very little overlap, as our focus is entirely on seeing the industry from a woman's standpoint.

There is no limit to the number of questions allowed. But if you submit multiple questions, only one of your questions can be selected as a winning question, so five different people will win.

And I see now why you were asking about the other thread. I'll message you the list of questions I found in that thread, since it looks like the list would be huge if I posted it here.
