Well im gonna give this another shot - you may recall me going on a tyrade about how this game doesn't work after _______ insert how long since launch etc.. driver problems etc... widescreen problems etc... bad coding

anyways im not going to do that.

I'm going to give it another shot and give you a step by step of what i do... maybe i can get some constructive advice because i REALLY wanna play this game despite my anger towards 2K and their game



GENERAL INFO

AMD X2 5000+
2 gigs Corsair DDR2 DHX 6400
8800GTS 640 meg (running fully stable at GTX speeds)
80 gig standard 7200 rpm sata drive
Soundblaster Audigy ZS 2


---and it begins


FIRST UPDATE : Put RETAIL disc in and began install

UPDATE 2:

while install is running im downloading Bioshocks newest patch, along with the new NVIDIA drivers for Vista ( 175.16 )

OH and obviously im running Vista32

Install is half way done

UPDATE downloading the latest driver for my sound card

Install is complete

UPDATE : its autodownloading the patch... cool
