I have already a XBox360 since Avril 2007 and it just turned down by a ROD, but i'm not affraid since i know that 2008's XBox360 are far ameliorated from 2006's XBox360...

I hope that they will exchange my burned console by a new and fresh console

Yeah Angus they will accept it back. I have had three friends have the same sort of issue and it took a while, but they all got newer 360s once it was determined that it was the RROD. No worries man, just call them up and make sure its not the power pack thats not plugged in correctly.

Right now I only have a 360 and DS at home, but I'll be grabbing all three, because I see a PS3 in my future (and the ability to play this online with my PS3 friends!)

Good thing to hear Civ Rev looks crispier on the PS3. What's that about 360 outselling PS3? Not in europe that is. No europeans here?

And the 360 isn't outselling the PS3 anywhere...they are selling identically around the world(except in Japan)...but even that is a win for Microsoft and a loss for Sony, after Sony held 2/3 of the entire market last time around.

Doesn't matter though, the only real difference is the types of games and the type of online possible. I vote 360 because it has better games(IMO), and more of them available...along with being cheaper and having a more robust online experience.

If you have both systems, get CivRev for the system you have the most friends available to play with.

Well i read it on page 1 of this topic :

Lately I've been preferring the PS3 version. The PS3 version looks slightly better on my television. The colors are crisper and better defined, and I prefer the DualShock3 to the 360 controller.

Seems to be noticeable by the human eye so hurray the PS3 has prevailed once again
