Yeah I'm so happy I have it all paid and everything. You just don't have to worry. All you need to do is wait. And for me it'll be delivered right to my doorstep the day after release... unless they send on the day of release so that you actually get it on release day. I just hope the BD figurine comes in good packaging. I don't want that thing broken or damaged in any way! It's gotta look nice if it's gonna be sitting on my desk hopelessly trying to defend my keyboard against my cat.

I preordered mine a couple months ago, the guy at ebgames said they were only making a certain amount of copies altogether, which I dont know whether or not that is true, but I didnt want to take the chance, and there are some pretty awesome things in the collectors edition, and I didnt want to miss out on that stuff buy not pre ordering it.

And c'mon, anybody that takes the time to go through these forums should have pre ordered it a long time ago

I'm taking my time. I don't think everyone here had pre-ordered and there is a poll on it.

Yes you should, At my school (school of communication arts) my class are making mods for games, and that may be the game we are getting, not to mention the game club there(50 plus or so people) are planing on mass buying copy's. (they dont want to join a fan site because they hate spoilers period). So yes Dear god run and reserve as soon as possible!!!

    Deja Vu.......

I don't care to get the LE unless it's given to me. In regards to the regular box: In western Canada, there is no need for such a thing as preodering a coming popular title, given the market penetration seems to far outweigh the population of wanton gamers. There's no less than 8 major stores within 5 minutes by bus from where I reside. It's like the US without the huge population

Funny thing is the only technology that I've ever experienced shortages for was the Wii, and that shortage lasted eons.

Maybe if we all submit our big daddies we could make a re-enactment of 300, with the Elebits plush toys as the Persians.

Dunno, they just said go post thing in forum. Oh, and you have till tomorrow, cuz of some delay. Dunno if it was announced or not, but I heard it through PM. Just go look for the newest interviewing Elizabeth thread, and read the first post. It'll explain.

    Besides, I live in U.S. ^____^

  20. I preordered at my GameStop today and they told me that I should reserve Bioshock if I want the Limited Edition. They are only getting 10-15, which being the only one in miles, I quickly put down five dollars. Besides, I never saw a harm in preordering, your money goes to the final amount anyway.

I placed my pre-order,but in retrospect there seems little point as my local gamestore has only 30 or so pre-orders,compared to over 1200 for Halo 3-with less than a month til release, thats a pretty worrying statistic.

I wouldn't worry. That stat more likely shows Microsoft is going to need another vault for all the moeny they'll milk out of the Halo franchise.

I don't understand why people have to ask this stupid question, it may or may not be necessary but do you want to take that chance? Just preorder every game you play on getting before it comes out so your guaranteed a copy.

    Yeah, me too.
I remember the petition we had to sign. Ahh, good times.
Then the next, I don't know, 2-3 days, I went to Gamestop and asked when they will have the LE available for pre-order.
Turns out they didn't even know there was a LE.

Do you think it is necessary to pre-order?

    YES!

Always wanted to do that, and right now I'm tired enough to go through with it. Well, I just watched Night of the Living Dead (the original)...

If you want the right to call yourself a fan. Which we all are here. Except the people asking for a little more info before deciding on whether they're gonna get the game. Then we turn them into fans.

I would if you wanted the collectors edition with the big daddy statue/figure. If not I think you will be fine.

I would really like the LE, both for the swag and to support the game, but with little hope of actually running the game on my PC in the near future I'm not in a big rush to run out and preorder it. Plus, I don't know if I'll end up playing the PC version or the Xbox 360 version, so I couldn't even comfortably buy one or the other ahead of time (and no, I can't afford both). Bit of a pickle.

I think the only other collector's edition I bought was for Diablo II. I grabbed Diablo for cheap out of the bargain bin so I felt a little payback was in order. Got System Shock 2 for cheap too, so it would be fitting...
