Good times! (I don't know why I've been using the guise of Heavy every time I say I've had a good day...)

Yes, it was a good day. I did far better in my Algebra test than I thought I would (actually, I didn't get my test back, but it wasn't nearly as horrible and I'd expected). Other things happened that were good- not really of any significance when looked at objectively or from another person's perspective, but it means a lot to me for some reason.

Heres a question: does North of the border mean the Canadian or Mexican border? because that greatly affects whether or not you should see a doctor.

Also, cookies are great. Home made cookies are better. As I can't bake (cooking is a different matter) I kind of needed the spouse for that one

North of the Mexican border... meaning I'm an American. I live in Texas, 20-30 miles out of Houston. If this is about the ear thing, I think it stopped.

    Also, cookies are excellent.

Message to all: watch this and try not to be hyped for Max Payne 3.

Ah. Never go to a hospital then. Unless you're in a different country or happen to get a job at a company that has great benefits

It was a decent day, as they go. A little bored, but that doesn't matter. Failed at TF2 a while ago, and that was about it.

...basically one of the worst Friday the 13th's ever. My friend's dad was one of the Coast Guard officers that was shot and killed yesterday. What's worst is I don't feel any sympathy or empathy for my friend.

It happens. I lost the ability to feel empathy about death a long time ago. I think my entire country did, actually.

I've never had a truly bad friday the thirteenth. Not looking forward to my birthday, though

Le new video card installing time. More on that later.

EDIT: So far, I've wasted 2 GB downloading drivers that freeze up halfway through installation.

EDIT II: Has anyone here ever run into something like this in Minecraft? It's a bunch of chickens stuck in a bush...

Yeah, I was wondering where you'd gone.

Our computer was being fixed, and my cousin, who was doing the fixing, said he would put in a new video card and some more ram and other things to make it more capable for gaming. We got it back yesterday, and everything made after 2004 runs like crap. Like, worse than before crap.

All you've gotta to is open the case and take a pic. It may be different for you, but the top of mine just slides off.

Most have two screw on the back, then a slide away plate. Make sure you remove the side that opens in to the computer, not the side that opens onto the metal frame

    FALSE

Also, whats wrong with opening up a computer? Or learning the necessary information of the digital age? If 56 year old me can do it surely teenage you can. It's like lego.

I can accept the musician excuse, not the "my pc has failed me twice" one. Why? Viruses? 600 thousand macs got hit by a trojan last week. All other problems can be solved by computer care. If your car breaks down when you haven't changed the oil in two years, you can't blame Ford.

Although because everything is done through browsers now a days I guess it doesn't really matter

Speaking of computers, I've realized that I have enough spare parts left over from before I upgraded my current computer and past computers to built a semi-decent Frankenputer for one of my friends. I'll have to ask her what the specs are like on the one she already has, but she claims that it takes 30 minutes to start up and it's really slow in general. It may need to be cleaned up, or she may just need something new entirely. I honestly do not know.

I just saw this trailer. I'm in the process of vehemently frothing at the mouth. I'm honestly hoping that this becomes my next "favorite game" of the year.

It's nice and all, but I'm never really hooked by flashy cinematics because they represent practically nothing in terms of actual gameplay. They may introduce the story a little bit, but other than that... it's just a little movie.

Today was stressful with projects and essays due. Beautiful morning in Gresham Oregon today and then ruined by the afternoon rain. Meh, the rain washed away some of my stress while I walked to the car after school.

Ha, if only that were true. I did end up fixing her computer, though. As I predicted, she had overfilled the hard drive. I'm still going to offer her my old video card, though. It ain't selling for anything, and it's good enough to play most casual games.

Hmm... not a great day, in fact I would classify it as a slow and painful day that you just can't wait to end.
