[QUOTE=Ureh;476574]Copy and paste desired text into quote tags in the same message box. If the posts you wish to quote happen to be at the bottom of the window (it always displays the 10 most recent posts in that thread, Quick Reply doesn't do this however). You can copy and past from there.

You don't have to include the poster's username, but it helps to distinguish quoted texts sometimes.

    Example:
    [quote=him]him's post[quote]

    Your message here.

    [quote=her]her's post

    Your message here.

Add forward slash where appropriate. If the post you want to quote isn't displayed as the 10 most recent messages, then you'll have to open a new tab or window so you can copy and paste from there.
    oh ok thanks

(sorry for the double-post idk how to double quote)
They aren't pointless AIW, they are simply making a movie for every book.
Personally, I think they did a great job with the latest one.

My house would have something to do with it but it's currently 15°C (59°F) outside which is really cold for us Australians who are used to relatively warm days even in winter.

Today was another one of those days where I just didn't do anything interesting. I seem to have a lot of those, but hey... what can ya do? Complaining, I suspect, is too much fun.

I stopped at the fifth book, but my friend tells me that he dies in the last book "The deathly hollows",supposedly a ton of characters die in that one...I just wish that the director for harry potter would just turn the last book into one movie instead of two, there is no doubt in my mind that he's going to tease the fans by putting voldemort's death in the part 2 of the deathly hollows.

My God I hated the end of The Deathly Hollows... At that point I think she was just trying to get it over with. And yes, lot's of characters do die in that one ;P One that we all love so much dies in the very start... Someone... Fluffy...

Yeah the seventh movie is being made into two seperate films so in a sense it's 8 movies total.

    how about just money?
if you dont have a good game to buy just save up some money so you could buy yourself: food, clothes etc.
    thats what i do nowadays..

i agree with AIW,money is the best gift because you ultimately decide what's the best way to spend it.IMO you should ask for $150,but that's just me.

How is it teasing? The death happens in like the last 50 (rough estimation) of the book. I don't see how the director can put it in part 1, and still be accurate to the source material.

And it's getting hotter again here as well. Temperatures dropped below 20°C last week, but have been going up again (27°C today). I sure hope it's gonna go down again! I can't wait for it to be winter!

The deathly hollows is going to be split up into two movies and as such i'm pretty much assuming that he is going to put voldemort's death in Part 2 of the Deathly Hollows, but i feel that instead of making 2 movies out of one book and prolonging it,i think he should just put it all into one movie(even if it's 3+ hours).

I have been working on my bike alot lately. Initially was just buying new bits to replace the old and just generally look nicer, until i found and got a whole new fairing set so it looks like a new bike now. Wasnt expecting to win it, especially not at the price i got it at so was good. The tank wasnt included in the auction so had to buy that seperately after sorting it out with the seller

Heres how it used to look just last week: http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/7/31/2028887/old1.jpg

and heres how it looks now with new pics i took today:
(yes i like to take loads of pics lol)

Gave it a good clean today. My rims have never been so clean. It shines up great. I love the new kit. I did like the old one but it was just so cracked and broken i just wanted to replace it. Am keeping it until i sell the bike eventually then will sell it seperately or put it back on the bike and sell the new seperately, which ever way i decide. Its not finished yet, has the screen on that came with it so will be putting my own one on soon as well as the red screen bolts with it. Am needing a new fairing bolt kit, mirrors and whatever else i find that i want. It has a bit of damage to the right hand side panels but i knew about that before i bought it. Not too bothered about it

So far new bits include: Gold foot rests, black brake and clutch levers, gold brake lever adjuster, sprayed bar end weights, new red side panel bolts, red screen bolts and full fairing set. These replica's usually have either orange or black rims but im not going to be getting mine sprayed. I think they look alright white. Might get some new pics once i have everything on that i want done

Other than that I start work on monday. Got a week's placement for work experience working at the pharmaceutical company here where my dad worked. I wanted a full summer job but all they could give was a week. Should be good working on site. Have no idea what we will be doing though, hopefully will get to go in the labs. Work starts at 8:30 so have to get up rather early but its only a week so will be fine. Will find out when i get there anyway

Oh I'm so jealous Atlas.! Lucky you. It looks great
I've wanted a motorcycle all my life but I'm a very distracted driver and for my own safety, I decided that a bike license and me wouldn't safely go together.

Thanks Cat I sometimes get distracted but i can ride fine, if not sometimes i believe even better, when im not paying full attention. I can be thinking about something but just carry on perfectly fine lol. Apart from one time i was thinking about something and forgot i was in a 40mph zone and was still doing 60 lol. But i really do feel safe riding. Hard to explain the feeling but i never feel it any other time, like a feeling of safety i dunno. Its actually alot easier to get distracted in a car than on a bike - passengers talking, listening to CDs/radio, idiots that use phones while driving, eating/drinking etc. We dont have any of that. Just us and the sound of the engine (unless of course you have a passenger and use radios to communicate)

Have you ever tried riding one, even just to try it? You might find it would be ok for you. I did some stupid things at first but i got lessons and stuff and ive never had any problems. Apart from idiot car drivers pulling out right in front of us. Its other drivers that are the problem, not us. It is great fun to ride. I dont have a car so i cant really compare it but most people i know hate driving. Its not like that with a bike. Always want to (unless its raining or icy ) I came off once on the ice but was my own fault for even going out that morning, i should have taken the bus

If you would like to then lessons could really help. I had great instructors and learned alot from them. Just know what you're doing and be safe and you'll be fine As i said its other people who are the problem. Have had a few close calls myself because of idiots. And of course the main one being what happened to my dad... It didnt stop me from riding but i dont think he would have wanted me to. I cant know that for sure but i know that if it had been me i wouldnt have wanted him to stop because of it. Its one person being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Riding is safe, more than i would have thought before i started nearly 3 years ago now. Just watch out for other people...

Holy **** Atlas i love your bike dude! The colors complement each other really well. I've seen orange bikes that look like popsicles on two wheels.

My father had a bike that he use to let me ride but it got wrecked when he left it in the wrong place. I would love to have a bike of my own someday but my family has horrible experiences with them including my uncle crashing and skidding across the pavement skinning his back and arms really badly. Not pretty to look at. Plus riding a bike around NY isnt really safe since here people drive around like friggen maniacs.

Thanks Glad mine doesnt look like a popsicle then lol

Hmm yeah.. I wouldnt be too sure about riding in NY either. Very busy so people might not see you so well. Aint a particuarly busy area here and have some good roads for it. Just hate when i get stuck behind people... Overtook like a row of 5 the other day cause they were annoying me lol. My bike is still restricted til im 21.. Is my b-day next month so around this time next year the restriction kit will be coming off and i can ride full power. Currently is restricted to 13bhp. Full power is 33bhp. Will be so much easier and faster for overtaking and consequently, safer

I was considering giving up after what happened to my dad. I really had to decide if i wanted to continue or not. Everyone said it was up to me and they wouldnt stop me if i wanted to keep going. If i knew for sure that he would have wanted me to stop then i would have. I can never know but i would imagine he wouldnt. I have always been one, even years before i had even ridden i knew how it felt. I agree with what they say, riding is a way of life. Its just like a part of us. I was originally just a motocrosser, though had never gotten to ride one its all i had ever wanted. I got an mx bike for my 12th birthday but the bike never ran. My first ever time on a bike was on an mx bike at a race track, i got a day there to ride one. I was never really interested in a road bike, if so then it would be a road converted motocross bike. I compromised and ended up getting a road bike 125cc for my 17th b-day and now have my latest bike which i am happy with. I still hope to ride a motocross bike again some day. Could buy one myself but problems are nowhere to take it to ride, and even if there was i would need a way of getting it there. Theres a great track but its 2 hours drive away..

Edit: Got the power wrong. Was confused with my old bike which was only 13bhp. This one restricted is 33bhp and full power is 60bhp lol

Also just found out that we only need to be restricted for 2 years, not an age restriction of 21. Dont know where i heard that from. Just need to find out now if its 2 years since i started riding or 2 years since i passed my test. If this is the case then the restriction kit can come off now. Was just looking into it to see if i need to get a new license to remove the restriction part of if they automatically send one. Cant find anything useful though

You cant really live in fear since it'll end up consuming your life. If you love to do what your doing you would risk the danger. Still riding your bike then going to motocross you can have good practice with speed control and manuevering even though i doubt there would be trucks driving around a motocross track.

@Judgeofwings Dudee your not the only one! I wrote this on my closet door: http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j2...O/CIMG5158.jpg I messed up and did the bottom in non caps and it looks stupid. Did you leave that message there for people to look at it and try to figure it out?

I know. Im not scared about it, never have been not even after that. It was more just about keeping doing it after that had happened rather than being afraid to. I dont really fear death anymore so that wouldnt stop me. Alot of people see bikes as dangerous and risky. They have never been that way to me and its completely different when you actually do ride one. Its only dangerous because of others. They claim 'not to see us' even though we have bright headlights on and are clearly visible. I've had several people look directly at me, having obviously seen me, but still continue to pull out directly in front of me. They are either just that stupid or they dont care. Its not them that would get hurt but us. Most are just ignorant most likely and dont have much of a clue about how to drive properly which is what puts us at risk. Im not going to stop though because of people like that, dont see why i should have to. I can react quickly though so luckily for them i never went into the back of them though it has been close. True we are obviously alot smaller than cars so harder to see in that sense, but with out headlights on are clearly visible. I have never missed a bike on the road and see one coming from a long distance away. I dont understand what their problem is. If they just took a few extra seconds to actually look properly before just pulling out then everyone would be safer

Some quotes that all of you may've heard in some form or other:

    1. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

    2. It is not fear that grips him, only restlessness. A heightened sense of things.

    3. Do not be afraid to be afraid.

If everyone thought of others and not themselves there wouldn't be any conflict in the world. People are so inwardly preoccupied that they forget that other people exist around them. Its sad but that's most peoples mentality. Either way just taking a few steps of precaution makes a world of difference.

@Mr.Bubbles Atleast we get that early bird senior special at IHOP. No wonder I've been obsessing about those DAMN KIDS ON MY LAWN!!!

I'm in Bluffdale, Utah, at my grandparent's house. I'm having a blast here, so far, but I've been having some really, really weird dreams lately. Maybe they are brought on by depression (which I do admit, I have been in lately), and perhaps by the fact that I have been staying up late watching movies. Watched Fight Club last night, and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist the night before.

I will probably have pictures of my fun in Lake Powell once I get back to Florida (I rubbed a bunch of hair off my legs when I was tubing. It looks like I shaved it ), but I won't be back until the beginning of August. Then, when I get back, I get braces on the 5th, and a new phone, and new clothes, and get my ears pierced, all before I begin my high school years on the 27th or so.

    How is everyone else doing?

    That reminds me...

The other day I was out playing basketball in my front yard. Now, I have this neighbor who's in his 60's/70's and he decides that apparently a basketball bouncing on the pavement is too much noise for 6:00 p.m. so he comes out on his porch and he's like "Jay could you come here for a second?" so i went over to the edge of his lawn and he says "I'll buy that ball off you for a hundred bucks (A.K.A. shut the hell up )" and then for some weird reason he says "Do you sleep with that thing?"

I would so have sold my ball for 100 bucks. I've got like 5 more in my garage

Lol old people . Apparently being old gives you that excuse of being crabby and mean at all hours of the day. I wish you could meet old people like that old man from UP. Speaking of old people, last night i was on the train and i saw a old man that looked EXACTLY like Mermaidman from spongebob. I was about to go up to him and ask for a picture but that would've given away his secret identity .

So true. Just wish people had more sense than they do. It really doesnt take much

I edited my last post, got the power wrong lol. Was my old bike that was only 13bhp, this one restricted is 33bhp and full power is around 60bhp lol. And just found out our restriction period is only 2 years, not age of 21. Dont know why i thought that. If so i can get it off now, just depends whether the 2 years counts from when i started riding or from when i passed my test. If my test date then November 27th will be the 2 years, if since riding then next month will be 3 years. Either way it can come off now or in a few more months. Need to find out which it is then find out if i need to send my license back to remove the restriction part or i will automatically get sent a new one after the 2 years i have no idea. Cant find anything useful. Will be good to get the restriction off though. My MOT is due next month with the guy who fitted my restriction kit so hopefully he might know about it and will get him to remove it
