I picked up like-new Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card from the post office today.
I shelled out 50 US bucks for it on eBay.
The reason why I bought it was that I started to notice more and more of this "lossless audio" craze - people tolerating nothing else than the .flac or .wav formats, dissin' mp3s, etc. I like good audio (but I am not a complete audiophile), so I read a couple of reviews, many of them said that this card is great for .flac's and stuff.
I got it, installed it, then tested some .flac files vs. mp3's.
And you know what?
No difference. Or maybe I can't set it up correctly?
Anyway, it will still be very good when it comes to recording (which I do very often with my bass), also has a ton of neat effects/options. I'm still satisfied with the card, but from what I call the "FLAC Craze" I expected mind-blowing audio, instead I got practically nothing.
Anyway, besides a short trip to my local post office, my day has been uneventful.

I bought a few MAC shades yesterday and a couple more today. Also got a new set of make up brushes from Chanel.
(unless nobody here would worry which in that case just disregard the last sentence)
)
I wanted to see the new baby too.
