Hurm, lets see... My adventure today... Ah, yes. So, I work for our local utility company (specifically electricity) and I was at an event today where there were a whole bunch of kids at our local science center. It was really fun, the kids were awesome and super engaged. Even though I'm losing my voice from my cold (which SUCKS, cause the whole point of my job is to talk) I managed to get some really neat conversations in with both kids and parents. And, my teammates were really funny - we were discussing how much a team mate and I use our hands when we talk. Now we're having competitions to see who can do it more.

On top of that, I now have a new nickname: DJ Aych Ess (this is my initials, HS) and apparently I am da bawss. I honestly feel like such a failure when I say that out loud at the moment. It doesn't help that I sound like a teenage boy going through puberty either

I got my Meshuggah t-shirt today

I had my final RS exam yesterday (piece of piss, so easy) and exams are looming. Everyone is getting so stressed out and I'm just sitting there like....meh. It's rather funny to be fair but i'm gonna freak at the geo and maths exams, so hard.

Today was actually okay. Things went from bad to neutral at school (for the moment) and I managed to kill several irritating bugs in Max Payne and get GTA III running again by switching both to Windows 2000 compatibility mode. Ha, old games.

Eh, the thing about nicknames is that A) you can't choose them, and B) they are always horrible. Just try not to think about it.

EDIT: Kitten! It doesn't get any more positive than that, does it? I GOT A FREAKIN' KITTEN! I've completely repaired the damage I've done to this thread, thanks to this kitten! IT'S FREAKIN' ADORABLE!

Name it Minnie. Minnie is the great cat god and sees all! BLOOD SACRIFICE FOR MINNIE! [Yes, I do actually worship my cat]

Minnie is the name of my cat, if you've ever wondered why it's PachaMinnie, it's because I combined Pachacuti and my cat Minnie together. Minnie is also a god by the way, did I ever tell you guys about the time that my reading teacher told us to do a report on what is special to you. She said I could write what ever I want about my cat, as long as I had pictures... Well, let's just say she doesn't know the power of google images. I wrote minnie paragraphs about how Minnie, lead the Roman empire, inspired the pyramids, went into space, married Erwin Rommel, was a Queen, was a King, was born in a manger in Bethlaham to Minoos, the hero of Skyrim. etc. It was a fun project. ALL HAIL MINNIE!

Sorry, it was already named when I saw it. "Spooky." It wasn't my choice, but there are worse names out there.

I must say, Spooky is a fine name for a cat.

If I ever got a cat, I would instead get two cats. One of them I would name Lynyrd, and the other would be Skynyrd.

If I ever got a cat, it would be pitch black, I'd make it wear a red scarf, and it's name would be Sakamoto.

Next week is the very last normal week of school. Actually, last week was the last normal week. Finals start Friday, and the week after next is three half-days of testing. After that, summer. My god I am dreading summer. Three months of sleeping until 2 P.M. and playing the same video games over and over, with zero contact with anyone in my age group. I hate it. It makes me sick to be so useless for so long. It's like being trapped on an island with a stable power grid and an excellent internet connection.

No avoiding it. Every year ends this way. Just gotta hold on and hope for the best...

Welcome to my world . My advice, find something you really like doing and do it. I love history, ergo I learn about history in my spare time, and I have a LOT of spare time. There, you are no longer doing what you really like doing yet, feeling bad about it. Instead you are learning and doing what you like doing and convincing yourself it will work out in the end. Like, I had this friend that loved Warhammer 40k, so I decided to take up Flames of War. You get a set of these 1 cm long figures that all cost 60 dollars and you gotta paint these S.O.B.s, it was hard, but fun until I realized this entire hobby is overpriced and I suck at it. 270 dollars down the drain. Ah well.

Well, I like gaming, but not so much that I could do it for three consecutive months. What I like doing is getting into the guts of computers and learning what they do, how they do it, and why. Unfortunately, opportunities for that sort of thing are few and far between. I only go into my computer when I have something new to shove in it, and that is rare. I do sometimes repair computers for other people, but that, too, is rare.

I'm not too worried about it, though. I've done this... what, eight times before? I'll survive another.

EDIT: Partial eclipse just now. I only saw it partially, but it was still awesome.

I would be excited for that if not for two things, first the chances of it coming back on in Australia are fairly small, and second, since learning Japanese I just go straight to the source for my anime.

You actually learned Japanese to watch anime? That shows some dedication.

It was a bad day, again. I'm honestly used to it now, and there are very few left. Let come what may, summer is soon enough.

I used to watch it with subtitles, and that way I picked up really basic stuff, so one day I decided to learn in just to fill in the blanks, it also helps for reading manga, and certain games that never get released outside of Japan.

    We still have seven days.

I'm honestly looking forward to the first three weeks of Summer, because I signed up for summer school to get some credits. But after that, summer is just gonna be really boring. We do go to King's Island a lot, though, so that's good most of the time.

ALL of my old Grand Theft Auto games have stopped working, and that sucks. Wandering around Liberty City listening to Chatterbox is oddly therapeutic, and I could use a freakin' stress reliever right now...

I've been watching a lot of Jim Carrey's Improvaganza. If you haven't seen the show, you should really try it. It's hilarious.

Just had Prom and Dry Grad yesterday through today!!!! Such a fun time and great day. Magicians and hypnotist's and food and long time friends and photos and food and dancing and mini-gambling centres and food and prizes like laptops, tv's, and food!!!

Geez, Ive never seen so many good-looking people all at once. It went from 4:30pm-5:00am!! (Not including the pancake breakfast I had at a friends house later.)
Hahah, how was everyone else's Prom when they did it however many years ago? =D

To the people who haven't had Grad yet, it should be a ton of fun. Hahah!

My formal, that's what we call prom in Australia, was craptastic, none of my friends went, which meant I was sitting a room with people I had nothing in common with for 3 hours, one of the most boring nights of my life.

MY DAY: Read about Homer. Walk in circles. Do math. Eat terrible food. Get ignored by a girl I can't get over. Do the same thing while struggling at Spanish. "Learn" about agriculture. Flip through a textbook while also writing things down that were in said textbook while getting ignored by a girl I can't get over (multitasker!). 0wn my Geography reviews. Drink soda. Play TF2. Go to my brother's kindergarten graduation. Eat Mexican food. Post at 2K.
