Yeah, Czech dubbing was awesome in Mafia 1, i hope too...

BTW: Maybe you should rename this topic to "Dubbing" for non-czech users here.

I wonder when will be released czech trailer. I want to hear their voices, i love'd original czech voices by Marek Vasut or Peter Rychly. English dubbing is good to, but it's not that original

I'm afraid they won't make Czech dubbing It's very expensive to do it for so small nation. We can only hope. Official homepage isn't in Czech too, zrádci.

i presume to say: why not? if there is complete localisation of Assasins Creed or The Witcher. I think Mafia has even better name among czech gamers than this ovehhyped ****.

Somehow I imagine it would be in there, just because of the roots of the developer.

The spanish dubbing in Mafia is very good, one of the betters of the history in Spain - for the european spanish language - and not is bad for Sudamerica .

I didn't like the English version of Mafia too, it wasn't so good like the Czech original. Lucky the Mafia II will be with Czech dubbing too, even if the original will be in English.

    I hope so (Czech dub)
BUT English version can´t be an original, because it´s Czech game and it will be forever! Sorry, but I´m really proud fan

  26. #26
Frankly, I think that in a videogame it's hard to talk about original version, in any event the best will be the original language or languages for which they made are gestures of the mouth. The exception will be the dobbing under the direct indications of the developers

I believe that the best, in this case, is the English version. Besides, I do not believe a credible a Italian mafioso who spoke in Czech in New York And maybe I prefer the english version with subtitules in my lenguage , I only like the spanish version if he will be with a good dobbing

I wish it too, but 2K Czech is under 2K lead, so I guess they have to make an English original and then translate it to Czech.... But it's just my opinion, maybe Elizabeth could tell us more about it....

    Take it easy

I really hope too, that there will be a Czech dubbing (in case, I shouldn't care about it, I'm Estonian), cuz it would show.. independent
If smb has his own great mothertongue, then there's no point of not using it, English is not world, it's only a little part of how world works...

yeah well the english language is international and understood by the majority of the world (especially those who play videogames). And besides it would seem weird to have Empire look like an American city and have them speek czechish. I, for one, as a Dane wouldn't buy a danish version (if there was one) over the english. Wouldn't be quite as realistic
