    Moments in Rapture

As we all know, the dynamic environments and unpredictable denizens of Rapture come together to create all sorts of unique situations. Be they strange, violent, humorous, or touching - I thought we might share our own experiences here.

    I'll get the ball rolling...

Once I was backtracking from Point Prometheus to see what I could scrounge from earlier levels. When I emerged from the smuggler's cave into the tea garden I saw four houdini splicers just standing huddled together like they were taking an NPC smoke break!

    One more..

Last night I was in Heat Loss Monitoring. I was standing, camoflauged, up some stairs and a good distance from a Big Daddy and Little Sister. I decided it was a good time to snap a research photo. I selected the camera, aimed the lens, and just when I was about to take the shot, the Little Sister looked straight at me. Even though I was invisible, she KNEW I was there. Her glowing red eyes went right through me and sent chills down my spine. Creepiest gaming moment ever!

I saw that one too, then I launched a grenade into there mids and send then flying.

seeing a hand full of splicers in fort frollic take on a big daddy was pretty funny too.

or the occasional gang war erupt between spider and thugish splicers is also a treat to witness.

It's pretty rare to see them do something weird or just different. One time, the dancers in Cohen's room were standing there looking at each other. He was whistling and she wa complaining about something to him, then he replied in an angry voice, but they weren't dancing. The music was going, but no dancing.

Another time, when I went back to the previous levels with the BD suit, when I got out of the Bathysphere in Arcadia, there's a bench with a gift and an audio tape you pick up earlier in the game. Well, it scared the hell out of me because I NEVER expected that to happen but, there were a female and male splicer sitting on the bench. I SWEAR it's true! They were talking the same dialogue the dancers in cohens were saying. It was SOOO weird! I was like, WTF? It was on the same playthough too. Like their dialogues got switched or something. There's a few more, like the splicer that refused to cross the prox mines to get to me, kept walking side to side yelling at me. Told me "Do you think I'm stupid? Well, go ahead think what you want!" and a couple seconds later, BOOM! He blew. It was funny though. TOO funny.
Another one was when I went back to Farmer's Market (in BDs suit, it's fun because they don't bother you and you get to see them live their lives without anyone bothering them, aka you) two crazy football players were just walking in and one of them laughed, and as he laughed, he threw a ball of fire at the other one, and the other one turned around and yelled, MOM! Can you please come get me, I'm scared! They continued to fight, then one that yelled, ran to the health station and before he healed, the other one killed him. After that, he just walked away saying some more crazy regular stuff. I swear, I wish I would've been recording all this. It's too funny and too good. Lol.

One of the funniest moments for me was..
    (You've heard this Mari)

In Fort Frolic, I just collected the 3rd photo for Sanders Masterpiece, and as you know that music comes on, when he gets angry for whatever reason. The level before, I purchased the Cyclone Trap plasmid, and I decided to give it a whirl. (Pun intended) As Sander goes on raving about something, I run to the top of the stairs of the atrium, a set the trap there and run back to the masterpiece. The harmonic symphony music starts playing and all of a sudden, about 7 splicers came running to the stairs. FWOOSH FWWWWWOOSH FWOOSH! They went flying everywhere. I just sat there going.
