Thank god I use weed instead.
haha there ya go^
That's not actually true. The article contradicts its own headline. If you take a closer look at the article it states that Prozac does work, but that depending on the severity of the depression in question plecebos can work just as well.Prozac, used by 40m people, does not work say scientists
Also, not actually correct (The article contradicts its own sub-heading). It works in cases of severe depression where plecebos are ineffective...Analysis of unseen trials and other data concludes it is no better than placebo
When all the data was pulled together, it appeared that patients had improved - but those on placebo improved just as much as those on the drugs.
The only exception is in the most severely depressed patients, according to the authors - Prof Irving Kirsch from the department of psychology at Hull University and colleagues in the US and Canada. But that is probably because the placebo stopped working so well, they say, rather than the drugs having worked better.

This is nothing new it's always been known that they can have opposite effects causing even worse depression. I was on prozac and it did nothing then I finished school and got better.
I used to take Zoloft. And it honest to god never helped me. I'm fine now though.![]()
