Question: is there a Final Solution to the Securom problem in the works?

By which I mean: a patch or utility that will not only absolutely and completely- completely- remove Securom from one's computer, but also allow BioShock to be authenticated and run without it? Is such a course of action in the works, on the table, or even a speck on the horizon?

Cause I think such a delicious cutting of the Gordian Knot might be the tonic to this fiasco. I'd certainly like it. Just wondering.

PS - I apologize for the title if anyone's offended, but I couldn't think of a more suitable pair of words to describe exactly what I mean.
