In olympus hights and those other places what where the trolly-train things for? I mean it only takes about 10 seconds to walk the length of the track. I mean it makes a little under no sense.

Well i guess people where lazy in rapture
huh...never thought about that before. It's good you brought that up it doesnt seem to make much sense to me either now that i think about it. Unless the track used to be longer and then someone built on top of it because it was shut down but they never got around getting rid of part of the track and the train/trolley thing.
Don't the tracks go down into tunnels in some places?
I've never seen the tracks lead anywhere else. I'll try to remember to look when i get there juring my next runthrough of the game (my sixth)

It's probley for the same reason they have those traveling walkways in airports. They help people carry stuff.
Also, remember, Rapture was a place that was always growing. Maybe other tracks were suppose to join it sometime. (It could be like a section of highway overpass that was near my home. They build the highest part of it, over the main open highway, then left it there for over 10 years before they finally did the rest of the highway!)
well when you first get into Olympus Heights there is two crashed train things in like a collapsed tunnel, so that could have been bigger but all the other ones it just seems like a waste.
