    Level Design

Hey everyone! im new to these forums, but im happy to be here. Its nice to see a section of the forums specifically for asking the devs questions.! I am really interested in the level design of things on not only bioshock, but all games. I really want to become a level designer someday, and have a few questions!

1.) Being a 9th grader, what would you suggest i do to give me some expierience with level design? (im somwhat familiar with ue3.)

2.) What type of schooling would i need to get into the games industry these days?

3.) Is their anyway i could get bioshock static meshes into the gears editor if i purchased this game for pc?

    Thanks for the time!

Unless they contain boobs, your Gears maps should be fine.
If anyone asks, you could also give us a link to where we might download the levels (assuming this is for the PC).

    Alright, sweet.
Remember, when making a portfolio (when applying for a job) be sure to have kept all of your works (even these edited multi player maps) and things you make from scratch, etc. so you can impress the people who are considerting hiring you.
