Graphical issues on 360 - slow image loading/frequent pausing
Hey guys,
I rented Bioshock a while ago and for the short period I was in possession I made some progress in the game and went ahead to purchase the game to keep. During the time I rented Bioshock I began to notice problems running the game towards the last few hours before I had to return it. It didn't bother me too much at first, and I figured it may just be an error on the disc. Afterall, it was only rental copy.
So I bought the game a few days ago but ever since the problems have continued to occur; even on this new disc.
The two problems are: slow graphical loading of things. Eg, the body of a splicer will appear in very basic extra-low detail but when I approach it and wait a few seconds the real proper graphics will show as normal.
The second is a constant and frequent pause of the game which will last about 2 seconds and then go back to normal. Very much like familiar computer laggg...
Both of which seem minor but are very annoying and I hope someone may have a solution.
What I can tell you:
I haven't yet downloaded any xbox live content for Bioshock but will do soon.
The disc is in almost new condition and I cannot see any scratches.
I'm actually using my LCD computer monitor to run the xbox. It's 2 years old and only runs at 1024x768. I haven't encountered problems with it before, but maybe it's just to weak to properly run bioshock???

Your monitor is fine - the problem is the game itself.
There are patches for it to download over Xbox live.
