Exclamation Could you please help me with this?

After the Intro Scene and the "Boy youre special..." dialog, the BioShock logo apears. Then the game stops. I have to do Ctrl+alt+delete and I get a box telling me Bioshock.exe is malfunctioning.

    My Specs:

    Sony Vaio VGN - FZ21Z
    Nvidia GeForce 8600 GS GPU
    Intel Core 2 Duo T500 2.2 GHz
    Ram - 2048

    Driver

Have you got the latest driver for your graphics card?

that was my solution when I had tech problems.

I have seen your specific problem somewhere in the forums. have a search around if no on gets back to you.

    DX 9 mode:

here it is!! hoping that you use windows vista! right click your icon at your desktop then choose play dx9 mode!! or if you dont want to right click every time you play... put -dx9 at the end of the line on target( make sure you put space then -dx9) .. note dont delete the text on the target just add this!!!

    Nice Laptop!!!

Well, there is just a small problem Pranzer. When I click with the right mouse button the options are as follows:
    Abrir - Open
Abrir Localização dos Ficheiros - Open Briefcase that contains the game files
    Enable/Disable Digital Signature Icons
    Execute as Administrator
    Scan with AVG
Associate to Iniciate Menu ( I dont know the exact translation)
    Add to quick iniciation
    Send to
    cut
    copy
    criate shortcut
    eliminate
    change name
    properties

As such I don´t know what to do...

    Oh, and one more thing.
I phoned my cousin and he told me it might have something to do with the shared and dedicated memory of the video card. I dont really know what that means but I looked up anyway. However i could not find any information regarding that about my video card. It´s a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GS GPU.
