    Big Daddy Figurine Issue
    5 / 10 / 2007

2K is aware that a small number of customers who purchased the BioShock ‘Collector’s Edition’ have found that the Big Daddy figurine has been damaged. In line with the company’s policy to ensure that all customers receive the very best experience, 2K have now sent new Big Daddy figurines to all retailers who originally sold the ‘Collector’s Edition’ so that they can now replace any damaged Big Daddy figurines. Please contact your retailer for further information.

    Gameplay UK

I just rang Gameplay in the UK about this (where I ordered my Collector's Edition from) and they claim they don't yet know anything about receiving replacement figurines and are still waiting for details. Not sure what is going on here.

Well, I've emailed GAME asking about it. Am awaiting response.

    BTW, thanks Liz/POG.

Game never replied back to my original emails on the issue.. I wouldn't hold out much hope.

It might be better to call GAME as I was put on a waiting list back in August when I called them because my figure has its helmet hinges snapped off.

I might just go in the shop and ask, and call up, and email.

I never received a reply to any of my emails to game about this either. I've emailed them again anyway (including that link in the message), hopefully they will respond this time.

This is good and all that something happens, but info about Sweden would be nice

*Still* waiting for a reply from GAME about this This is why I was hoping 2K would setup a scheme like the US one :/

Don't think I'll be buying anything from GAME in future

GameStation deny all knowledge of this...

The head office said they didn't know anything about it and the employee's of the store I bought it from say there isn't a programme and they've not seen a figure since the initial batch.

Please 2k, sort this out... the canadians and usa got royale treatment and I don't think other countries should be treated as any kind of inferior customers.

I just rang Gameplay UK yet again. They said that figurines had shipped last week! I said that I hadn't recieved a mail about this, does this mean I'm not getting one? Guy said he didn't know, and to ring back to talk to his supervisor on Friday.

If no luck, I'll just go through the Small Claims court here in Ireland.
