After all this time..."Unreal Log Window: Bioshock.exe - Application Error"
Well, I finally got hold of the demo today. Eagerly I installed it (I can only play it tonight, am going away tomorrow). I clicked the shortcut to the EXE. In the middle of the screen a little box saying Bioshock came up. I was getting excited. The little box disappeared, as they do before the game starts. I was REALLY excited now.
But instead of the game, I got a ☺☺☺☺ing windows error message.

I've recently got a similar "Memory could not be "read" error message in another program (GPGNet with Supreme Commander). The only thing I've installed since then is Microsoft Visual J# 2.0.
When I installed Bioshock it said my drivers were out of date, although I'm using custom ones by Tweaks'R'Us, so I assume that's not the problem. I'll try getting a new driver though, but 40MB on dial up will take...4 ☺☺☺☺ing hours.
I have reinstalled Bioshock and Visual J# to see if that helps, but nothing.
Can anyone help? Like, soonish?

OK, well I've reinstalled a couple times, restarted a couple times etc. Now, that error has gone. Instead, I have the one below!
