    system crash

    Hi! i can play the intro of bioshock, but after we enter the submarine in the intro and we see for the first time the city, after this, when the time is come to load the next level, during the loading my computer crash every time so im not able to play the game after the intro!

    so please if you have some solution for me!

    this is my spec!
    intel pentium d processor 820
    1gb ddr2 sdram
    250 gb s-ata 7200
    my graphics card is: nvidia 6900 overclocked with turbocache 256

    Other people have had this issue, and a common thread has been the soundcard. What is your soundcard? You can find out by going to Start -> Run -> dxdiag.

    On this, save all information, open the document, copy and paste it here.

    Have you tried running the game without your video card overclocked, just to see if that might be contributing?

    In your message you say you have "nvidia 6900 overclocked with turbocache 256" as your video card, but the output you list from DxDiag says you have a nvidia 7900 GTX.

    Which one is it?

    well there is no such thing as an nvidia 6900. maybe he got that confused but that still doesnt explain why he thinks its turbocache.
