Can not Select Unit or Settle City

Hello my fellow civ players, how are you doing? I am having problems with my Gods and Kings expansion; Every time I start a new game, It starts at turn 0 and I am unable to select a unit, settle the city, end my turn, nor click any other menu except the diplomacy menu and main menu. When I tried switching to strategic view and clicked on a unit/settler, the game crashes . What am I to do?

Your processor, and video card, are FAR below the minimum requirements for Civ 5.

However, there is a post at the top of this very forum, that deals with an issue, that SOUNDS like your description.

If it doesnt help, there isnt much more that we can suggest
