I am interested in the game, but im deciding if i should go for the standard edition or the premium.
Now, only way i see a bonus, is for MP.
But on PC, i guess there are no dedicated servers and this will be using p2p (MW2 and MW3 for example).
Is this true/false?
How many players on PC? IF there are dedicated servers (i hardly think so), do we get server control?
This all effects my decision on which version of the game to get.

Isn't it only available in the Premium Edition? I think it's just for early buyers, and they will have a standard without extras later.

But I doubt it will be any cheaper, at least initially. So if he's interested in playing the game now he should just preorder and get the extras.
I can get the standard for €25 less than premium....big difference.
Ah, I see. Maybe it's because I'm in the US, but I can't seem to find it in a standard edition, only premium.
On Steam the premium one is $5 more and the only extras are exp increases, gear and other boosts for MP.
I can only buy it with the premium content on Steam. One price.

Ok, so I got the game and played a little at midnight and 1 game this morning. So far, it looks like this game hasn't even cracked steams most played... http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
I guess thats ok for midnight to the morning, but since steam is required, if this doesnt change by 6pm... this was a waste of money for MP in my opinion.
No dedicated servers, it works much like MW2 and MW3 like you mentioned. The interface even feels/reminds you of MW2/3 a little. The online is 4v4 (small type maps).
The downside based on my limited play so far...
1) Not enough people, I had to try to join a couple games to get a full 4v4. Some were about to start 1v1 so I had to leave. Usually it just put me into a empty room and I had to wait it out. NOTE: I do not know if you could join a room in progress, I haven't joined one in progress and the 3 games I played I made sure they were full and no one quit.
2) I dont think you can select to join a specific mode (other then deathmatch and team deathmatch). Mainly, I'd like to join the non-respawn mode but didn't see it as a standalone option. Saw that combat includes it (along with the deathmatches). This could just mean that I need to unlock it, but so far it doesn't look like it.
Overall, MP is fun. Few shots to kill someone. Just gotta get used to the controls... not holding sprint kinda sucks right now.
