    Bioshock and Xfire

Hi, I have a problem using Xfire and Bioschock. Every time I received a message while playing Bioshock, the game stops playing in full screen and turns into a small window. żAny ideas?

    Windows Vista 32 bits
    Geforce 8800 GTS 640 (163.69 Beta Drivers- latest )
    Xfire Release 1.80

Thanks in advance and best regards.

I mean, every time I receive a message from a Xfire Buddy ( saying hello, or whatever - a new Xfire chat windows opens), the game stops playing in full screen and continues in a small window ( I can see the desktop, the xfire message, and the game's window).

    Thanks.

This is going to be the Xfire chat conflicting with the game. The only way arround this would be to disable Xfire chat when running the game.

this is not only a problem with xfire but also with messenger, the same problem but you can use alt+enter to go back to normal.

This would happen with any messaging client you have running in the background. The only way to stop it would be to log out of it.

Ok, thank you John. It is supposed that Xfire "supports" Bioschock. I mean, its in the game list.

No other game had this problem with Xfire. But I will have to deal with it.

    Thanks and best regards.
