Show stopping bugs:
1) The MP was unstable during connection and first turns.
2) The length of time between turns would increase to the truly ridiculous around the 1800s. Eventually we were waiting for 5 mins: both computers solidly above recommend requirements on a wired lan and the map size was standard.
3) The AI could not achieve basic goals like invading a lightly defended border while the main enemy force was occupied elsewhere.
Has any of this changed?
Oh, and I’m not really interested in people’s opinions about how I choose to play the game. Civ IV could handle these basic functions (and then some) of a civ simulator, so spare me your fan boy nonsense.
Thanks in advance for answering or not answering as it applies to you.
