Bioshock, Zeitoun, and Ayn Rand paper.
So this last year for my freshman composition class I was told to write a 7 page research paper based off of one of the books we read during class, so naturally I chose the book that was closes to Bioshock and pulled strings to show that they were "similar". Anyways, after pulling in academic criticism of Ayn Rand's Objectivism I was able to show enough parallels between to game and the book that it filled the required 7 pages. Then I turned it in. Somehow she gave me a 100, even though she has not played the game or read any of Ayn Rand's works. So I considered that maybe I should show the paper to some people with more experience in those two fields and see if anyone agrees with me. BTW: Zeitoun is a story about a Syrian man being badly mistreated by the American martial law system put in place during and after Hurricane Katrina: short news link.
