Can't play, just a black screen

I can't Play Civ V. It just shows a black screen when the videos are supposed to play. I enabled "skipintrovideo" in the user settings, but that didn't do anything, also i've verified the cache and reinstalled the game already and the same problem is still here!

After seeing your same reply in multiple threads requesting DXDIAG, and offering no real solutions, but instead just dickish responses, it's hard to believe you're actually here to help anyone. Maybe tone down the dickishness and you'd improve your effectiveness as a helper instead of coming off as some ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺ who's just trying to up his post count.

im not here to coddle people, im here, ON MY OWN TIME, to help people WHO WANT HELP, to get the game running.

If you are here to waste my, and other VOLUTEERS TIME, i WILL call you out on it.

I dont NEED to improve my effectiveness as a helper, ask the HUNDREDS who are now playing, that had ONE person respond to them here.
