    Game Won't Play, just black screen after video

    I installed and reinstalled civ 5 onto my computer and I can open it and the video ads show up and the intro video plays fine, but i can't get it to exit the video and go to the main menu. Even after the video fully plays to the end it's just a black screen that stays there endlessly.

    I've tried reinstalling and verifying the cache, but neither seem to do anything. Any ideas?
