But I would personally prefer a standard 10% Steam discount as a pre-order bonus instead of the free multiplayer pack.

The Line was always marketed as a story-driven game - first and foremost. Walt used to speak day and night, glorifying the uncertainty of sand & morality in the desert reclaimed Dubai. Yet there are no preorder incentives for the single-player minded gamers.

That would mean... I would purchase the game during the launch week or so as there are no incentives to preorder for "dark and mature narrative" fans.

That would also mean... no accurate preorder numbers for 2K - to help to estimate the overall demand for the game better.

I'm not into multiplayer. I'll buy this game for the story

Just something to consider.
