Unit Promotion Bug
I know a few people had this bug. Most people found solutions. I tried every "Solution" i could find. Here's the problem:
When i buy a unit (Scout, Warrior, Doesn't matter), it asks for promotion (i bought barracks). When i try to click one of the buttons, it won't promote. The button reacts to cursor but doesn't promote.
I also have the audio bug.
The intro has audio, but the game hasn't.
I tried re-installing, Editing the config.ini and UserSettings.ini, but nothing helps.
For more information:
I'm playing on Windows 7
I'm playing as Japan
I conquered Sparta from Greece.
I had the LOTR civilisations mod, the mod where they add religions, and Revenge of the north.
I'm playing on steam.

What happens when you turn off the mod? Does it work then?

No. It doesn't work.
I aslo forgot to mention that i'm using steam.

Hmm, I loaded the save just fine. And promoting also works like a charm... I can't find anything wrong with it actually...
Can you post a screenshot of where you click to apply the promotion?

Yes, he did, as did i.
The savegame it not the source of your issue, which leaves it elsewhere.
If it happens when you play mods, we CANT Help.
If it happens in a vanilla game, that at no time, had a mod attached to it, we CAN.
Can you start by posting your Dxdiag, and please post it HERE and not in a potentially harmful fashion like your previous downloads.

Just google how to find your dxdiag. The output screen that it will give you, can just select and copy it.
Then paste it into a new post here at the forums.

It says that there is no problem, but i still have the bug even when i use DirectX 10

We arent asking if there are any DXDIAG errors, we want yu to POST the logfile so we can analyze it for you
