Best of 3 or 5, king decides. If best of 5 is decided each civ used once in first 3 games. civ cant be used 3 times. oxford or not
decided by king. To be agreed upon before start of matches. 1 restart will be allowed per series, no questions asked.

First game vs. Japya, he gets an island so I give him a restart.
Next up, his Spainful vs. my Aztecs. Slow with my horses—got a tech from my first barb. He gets the walkin on england. By the time I get my HA up, he's got a nice AA choke and I don't have any sea access on his side of the kingdom. So I take out the Zulu and the Mongols. He drops in on one of my Mongol cities. I'm expanding nicely, but I can only imagine the bounty of whale and dye that he is feasting on because before long he GS's Indus. I only had an hour to play, so I conceded. Good game, as always.

I win the title with a great start. aztec vs arab and I find 7sog at 3500. Nothing really he could do. I am the new KING. Challenge me if you dare.
Yeah, I was just hoping you wouldn't find me for a while after I saw the 7cog popup.
Thought I was on an island, but it turned out to be a peninsula. Walked a mile before I found a barb and settled by it. Took another and found Romans. Sold HBR and all my units to reach 100g. Settled 2nd city on cattle. If I can snag CoL, I might have a chance. Nope. Militia sneaks up on one side and guides Japyas HA from another boat on the other side of the peninsula. He takes Tripoli for Religion. If I had enough gold to rush another warrior in my 2nd city, there's a chance I could have taken out his HA with my own, but I think that would have just delayed the inevitable.

started 5 game series with unbeatendoja. I win first game with my spanish versus his aztec. Second game starts my aztec vs his spanish. I get great start. get walk in on zulu at 3600 and have 100 gold not soon after. Make my ha and am about to take out the english. by this time he doesnt have his 100 gold yet. Before I take out the english he messages me he has to leave... He leaves and I stick around for a couple of more turns. The next turn I get Gwall and two turns later I get aoc with about 7 cities. If he didnt swoop in and get those artifacts, which is possible with spanish, this is a totally lost game. dunno if we should replay the second game or not. Also on a sidenote...the last 3 times Ive played doja he has paused the game for no apparent reason. a couple of times during a battle. he ended up losing the battles that he paused on but I dont see any reason to press pause during the game at all.
You shouldn't have to restart if he willingly left game for whatever reason. Ultimately though, it's your king title defense so it's up to u wether or not to allow a restart or count it as win... The pausing is highly suspicious. I could see accidentally hitting pause once during a game (i think i did it against Martin during our heated tank battles though i didn't even realize i did it. U also did it accidentally against me) but repeated pauses always makes me suspicious. Same thing goes for getting a diplomacy request when you've already met someone. Seems suspiciously like X-ray or Adar.
dunno why he paused, but it didnt effect the game. didn't make him win the battles all of a sudden or something. so im not trying to make it seem like that. I just dont have any idea why its neccesary to pause while the fight animation is going on.

Started defense versus star. My arab beat his arabs. He walked too long. I had cap and hbr before he settled. My aztecs take out his spanish. Unbalanced start. 2-0 in best of 5 series.
Terrible luck moving settler in both games. I haven't been playing much lately and it looks like my settler moving skills have suffered as a result. In first game, i thought i was on island at first and almost quit after first few turns. In second game, I would've been better off settling near my original starting spot (which was just 2 tiles to right where u settled) after i picked up that hut. I actually did start moving back towards where u settled until i saw u name a tile there. After seeing that, i headed east to get as far away from u as i could. Unfortunately, there were a ton of mountains in that direction and i couldn't even find a half-decent spot with 2 trees. There waa some whale but no trees next to them. I finally found an AI but it was way too late for a walk-in. I finally settled in a poor spot with only 1 tree and no food whatsoever. I could've settled in a more balanced spot on other side of Moscow but i knew you already had hbr for several turns and your 100 gold dity. In fact, i was watching both your cities and saw every time u rushed a horse. I knew u weere getting lots of map knowledge fast and u would've been all over me in no time if i'd settled next to any of those mountains. So, i decided to try and set up a solid chokepoint on that 1 forest tile between my cap and Moscow. Turns out in didn't matter, anyway as u found me soon after when i only had 1 warrior fortified there. Thanks. Like i said, once i got my 100 gold i had to sail half-way around the world to find nearest whale. Took to long for that second city. Later, i accidentally stumbled onto LCoA before i wanted to. Big mistake. I probably could've gotten invention before u if i'd saved it for that. i needed a gs badly. You already beat me to monarchy. Only gp i got all game were 2 freakin' artists. My other mistakes were teching university before steam and going into modern too soon. Rush costs were ridiculous so it took too long to put a fleet together to sink yours before u took several of my lightly defended dye cities. Once u took my cap and nearby workshop city i had practically no production at all and u had industrialization so i had no shot...Weird how game hard froze me as i was attacking that one city of yours. First time i remember that ever happening. When i came back AI had set my tech to construction so it took an extra turn or 2 to get CoL.
Up 2-1 vs doja. My aztecs beat his. My spanish beat his arabs. His spanish beat my arabs...

You had a better start with all caps . I did make couple mistakes by giving u steam power. Didn't u get soc? Gg

Gg's Jap, It's been a fun learning curve over the last few weeks playing against someone so much more efficient than the normal players I'm used to dealing with. Hopefully I can ramp up my game a little more and eventually relieve you of some of these King titles... I'm sure the shear weight of that much power must be hard to bare...
lol. Thur your a really good player. you provide a hard challenge for me and I know to expect aggression and pressure from you. Your getting better and better every time we play and I'm sure you will win one of my titles soon, although many have tried and only a couple have succeeded. Ive actually only lost two king title series ever. Welcome to the forums my friend.
Scottie took this title 3-1. He completely outplayed me with the highlight being when his aztecs beat my 7cog spanish. I couldnt getting archer army up quick enough for his horsearmy. I then take my title back 3-0. The three games were nothing special. All were unbalanced map luck wins. Was fun scottie. Well played and the title is still with its rightful owner..
well done - that was one of the shortest reigns in history lol
