(Needed) Bounty King

Standard rules of fair play established in other round robin tourneys apply. there will be no oxford. X-raying/Adar is not allowed. If in democracy or opponent has great wall all peace offers must be accepted but opponent gets one full turn to counterattack. Accidental freezes will be handled by players in the match. If no clear winner can be decided after freeze, then the match will be replayed. The Bounty King calls the shots... He chooses tier and number of games 3, 5, or 7 to be agreed upon before matches start. The one thing different about this title is the Bounty King calls out his opponent. Effectively putting a "bounty" on his head. The player he selects has one week to respond to challenge. The X-box and PS3 can post results here. Since I started the thread I will elect both bounty kings. For PS3 I elect myself. And for X-box I guess I must elect Digital. Call out your oponent Digital. 2-0 in best if five series versus raven(india). My romans beat his romans.... We settle very close to each other with barb in between us... He gets barb b4 me and that hurts. I go for walk in but he has money rushes warrior and attacks 1.5 vs 1 because hes on hill and loses. Lucky me. Next turn I win button race for his cap. Second game my english beat his indians... I get great wall about 3400 a turn before I get 100 gold. Around 3000 our horse armies meet at thebes... He attacks them first and next I attack and take thebes. He concedes. Nothing much he could do versus g wall.

I personally think great wall is a big advantage. I think there should be rule til when u can use it. Likke after ancient era.

Guess digital is not interested. Anyone from x-box interested. kinda fun to call out your oponent and put a bounty on him. You can call out the best or just someone who you want to destroy. If anyone is interested just post here.

Since nobody from the XBox side is responding, I am going to put my 2 cents in. So far I am not a big fan of the concept. And a bounty is really only useful if the one who defeats the guy with the bounty on his head, gets the bounty.

And why would you go around and request people to take the title from you? The only one having something to lose is the guy without the bounty on his head.

What if I wanted to become bounty king but the current king never picks me? Seems unfair.

A king should be challenged by the common people, not the other way round ;-)

I was thinking if we do the King of Kings on the xbox side we dont really need an xbox bounty king. That would destroy the concepct of bounty king because the bounty king could hold his title and continuously challenge he king of kings unfairly.

i see... well xbox doestnt like it. ps3 will continue unless they dont like it either. probably shouldve just floated the idea around first. but anyway.. ps3 guys tell me what you think also.

The reason I came up with this is because we basically have no one who challenges anyone for titles on the PS3 side. I posted a couple of titles I had in 2 seperate threads and got bout thirty views and not 1 challenge! I figured if I call someone out by name and put a "bounty" on their head they would have no choice but to play. Dont care if I win or lose the title just would be fun when it feels like a little something is on the line. If you wanted to be challenged by the bounty king just put a little competitve banter on the thread and will probably call you out. Dont think x-box needs this because they actually have titles that people play for. And grizz dont see how this would affect king of kings title. They are seperate and if someone beats king of kings while playing the bounty title they wouldnt overlap. Just like any other title.

Honestly, i don't enjoy mirror matches that much. That's why i don't challenge much for any of the king titles. If we had some other types of king titles like Xbox has like 'King of Queens' or 'king of____ tier" title i'd probably play for those.
