Quick survey on the BioShock series

Hi everyone! Thanks for coming here!
I'm Razimitsu, a French BioShock Fan who had the opportunity to work on his favorite video game series for school. I'm currently at the university, attending a class about media in American culture, and we had to chose a television/movie/video game series and work on it-part of this work being about reception of this series on its audience, hence my idea to make a little survey, and this is why I need your help, fellow fans

I won't take much of your time, and if you're willing to help me, you'll only have to answer this simple instruction

Unfortunately, as I must give my work back soon, i can't go back on this list, sorry ^^'

My purpose is to make a little chart with your answers that I'll include in my work and comment, I'm planing to give a link on Irrational Games main page, and to this thread if everyone agrees.

I'll close the survey on next Friday, meaning the 25th of May, as the deadline of my work in scheduled on the 29th.

Just a suggestion but you might have better results if you had a set of 20 or so words people could choose from. A bar chart won't be much use if everyone uses 3 different words and each bar is only 1 unit high.

UNfortunately you seemed to have picked a time when the bioshock part of these forums are pretty deserted/slow

Anyway words Dark Wet Creepy and bonus word is Nostalgic (for the 40s 50s feel to the settings)

This is not inclusive of Infinite which the first two words probably wont apply to

and actually a checklist of those 20-odd words - "does or doesnt the word represent the game to you " (and not just 3 of them or slight differeneces of player viewpoint will largely havetoo wide/even a spread of votes if only 3 allowed).

Coming up with the ~20 words might not be too easy and might miss some significant ones the people might prefer (so an expanding checklist of words with ability for people to revise their choices ( giving they yes/no for all the new words).

Might be moot if place stays deserted

Also, while I agree that a list of preselected words would work more scientifically, the three words that come immediately to mind are eerie, immersive, unforgettable.

at least for BS1.... (which for some reason brings to mind Lamb in the Psycho rocking chair and Ryan 'back from the grave' in a blond wig and glasses... that would have been a REAL twist for BS2....)

Out of the words you listed I'll go with - unforgettable, immersive, imaginative, utopia, Adam
