Civ Rev for iPad : no sound!

Have installed &'reinstalled. All volume controls are on & at highest level. But no voices, sound fx, or music. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check the sound setting on your iPad.

If you have mute on, the sound won't come through.
Sounds lame, but it happened to me.

I could play YouTube videos while my mute button is on, sound still comes through, then I switched over to Civ Rev, completely forgetting I had *mute* on. No sound. I was baffled for a minute. Then it hit me to check mute button. Problem solved.
