Beta Testers?

I just found this game while I was listing XCOM as my favorite game on facebook. I played all three xcom games since their initial releases. I believe it is the best game franchise out there. I can't honestly express how happy (thrilled) I am to know this game is coming. Since this is my first post I want to thank the developers and producers of this game. Trying to make xcom a fps is like having a live radio broadcast of a mime, useless and an insult to people who actually enjoy the art form.

Is there an ETA on the games commercial release? One more specific than Fall 2012.

I am doubtful, but I must ask. Mac port possible? If not, guess I'll play on my laptop.

Most importantly, will there be a beta test? If so, do you need testers? If so, pick me.

No specific date beyond Fall 2012.

No idea about the Mac port.

If there is a open beta / closed invitational beta, we would have heard by now. Chances are either Firaxis brought in a few people from the community on the hush-hush or just stayed with their own QA team. Not to mention that pretty much all the guys and gals on the team have played the original X-COM, so, they all functioned like semi-testers while programming the game.
