WTF DeathMatch?!?

Yesterday on X-Play they announced that Mass Effect was the winner of the Video Game DeathMatch for the greatest story ever told. For a while Bioshock was doing really well against the first 2 or 3 games (other games 41% to Bioshock 58-59%) but once it went up against God of War doing well for the first half of the day (GoW 41% to BS 58%) it lost it . Another gay thing I noticed is when they were announcing the "winner" they showed clips of games that didn't make it in as far as Bioshock, but no clips of Bioshock what so ever > . lame-ness...

oh yeah and the description they put for Bioshock said that Rapture was BUILT in the 1960

*shrug* It's an internet poll deaddoucher. Mass Effect is 'hot' at the moment. In five years time the next big game will top exactly the same poll.

As choo said - its only an internet poll and nothing official. I mean if Mass Effect was winner of the best story I bet those same people would probably vote Starship Troopers as the best movie !

It's an Internet poll. Not anything official. I do love mass effects story (except the ending which I won't go into) but I wouldnt say it has the best story. Not sure what game has the best story. But it's a little stupid Internet poll.

I know it's just an interweb poll : I was just sorely disappointed and thought I'd bring it up since no one else did. I was pissed off that Dead Space wasn't on the list either or some of those Oblivion games.
