Will since the game takes place in 1912 which is actually the same year the Titanic sunk, I wonder if we will hear anything about the Titanic in this game?

I not think so, because will be like in Rapture. A isolated city that not hear whats happen outside.
They honestly don't need this to make a good rendering of the era. The less they refer to it, the better.
With 'tears' you can do anything you like.
Daleks might be more entertaining (and cost less to make the assets)
Daleks wearing Easter Bonnets and doing syncronized maneuvers to Michael Jacksons Thriller... followed by Leonardo DiCaprio dressed as Caesar in a Chariot with Hello Kitty next to him and followed up by a New Years parade dragon.
All is possible when you depart into fantasyland in gaming.
Booker fighting his way to consciousness from a drug induced fever dream will be all the explanation required for all of it.

So this gonna be fantasy game more than a sci-fi
we might see th titanic columbia might even have something to do with it sinking cuz we are in a fantasy world.
Why are people thumbing this down, he/she's just asking a question. Anyways it makes no difference to me either way if it appears or not in the final game unless it has a huge impat on the story. It's interesting that you bring Titanic up though, it's essentially the same idea as Columbia right? - huge show of power and arrogance, punished for pride, Icarus and the sun kinda thing (BSI was codenamed 'Project Icarus'). I'm thinking Columbia meets a similar fate as the Titanic. I can see it falling out of the sky after hitting a skyceberg.

Could be linked somehow - like a tear being opened and a flood of water coming forth from the sunk ship (and someone mentioning the Titanic). Could be a subplot of the Founders doing an Insurance Swindle for the sunk ship (that they sunk...) to help pay for Columbia's supplies (they have to get money from somewhere and their bank account would be empty after 10 years of floating around 'rogue'.)

They could have a dozen or more different endings (so you have to replay it that many times to get them all - which might not be bad if the playthru is shorter with random scenes/situations/bosses each time)
It would be interesting to have it mentioned somewhere. Like a newspaper or radio broadcast in the Founders section of the city. I cant imagine that this tidbit of the world below would be shared with the Vox, especially since citizens arent supposed to be able to leave. But you can bet that the wealthy founders would be "in the know" of events of the world below. The Titanic was a pretty big fiasco, both before and after the sinking, so a mention might make the world of Columbia more realistic.

this boi got a point, we are in the sky so we can get radio signal and alot easier is that we are in the sky, you can look down and be like
"oh s***, comstock, check this out!"
"what is it saltonstall"?
"that big boat just hit a iceburg and its goin down"!

Not before. It was all the fanfare (maiden voyage) and expectations (unsinkable you know) that made it a greater disaster. Looking back you can say that having insufficient lifeboats was a 'mastake' , but the Titanic actually had more per person lifeboatspace than most ocean liners of that time. If they had plowed straight into the iceberg instead of the scraping it would not have sunk.
With different circumstances it would have sailed with its sister ships for decades.

They better take their 'Cats Eyes' nostrum cuz it was at night with no moon.
Maybe they would have to turn on all the heaters in Columbia as well, was pretty cold out there.
Has vision of iceberg being towed into Titanics path by Columbia (for that Insurance Swindle I mentioned before)
I doubt it as columbia is an isolated city, and news doesn't reach it probably.

They have to stop for supplies sometime (they have much less local resources than Rapture could ever have) and could pick up the latest newspapers/magazines while they were at it ( for the people who weren't completely insane onboard Columbia who would likely be desperate for news of the World just to overcome the boredom with the inane local news).
Maybe to keep everyone in Columbia entertained they could have T.V. (Tear Vision) regularly to give people something to look forward to. (maybe thats where Elizabeth was trapped most of her life -- in a 'theater' providing 'performances' for the daily T.V. schedule.)
