    Hey guys,

Ken Levine is being considered to be one of TIME Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world and I think we can all make sure he's on that list. Cast your vote here:

I don't know how Ken deals with it. It's gotta be stressful enough trying to produce a great game without dealing with the added pressure of being called a "luminary".

I imagine the key is being able to shut all that out and relax from time to time.

I'm gonna keep an eye on the results, even though you can vote multiple times. So far KL is 3rd on the list, ahead of some seriously influential people!

If you look in the poll results, Ken is already the second person with more votes! he's only losing to Ron Paul.

YES in the world (cue Dr. Evil laugh), let me put this in perspective at least for me when Lady Gaga and Usain Bolt are up there in votes I have no problem saying Ken belongs on the list over many up there.

I get laforza's point, but it makes sense when you consider just how big gaming has become (culturally and financially) and then look at the influence Ken/IG/BioShock still has. It's not to say that there aren't a whole bunch of similarly-talented folks making games, but Ken's name pops up with great regularity.

How the hell is Adele above Ken Levine? I won't stand for this! What is this world coming to!?

Hmm.. Top 5 (maybe10) of gaming, not the world, would be more appropriate. Although I will say if their was a Top 100 list for Steve Carell look-a-like's he'd get several of my votes.

Yes the voting is done and the list had already been announced - http://www.time.com/time/specials/pa...111975,00.html . Unfortunately Ken didn't make the list though he did pretty well in the voting (around 50th or so I believe) if I remember being middle of the pack as far as Yes votes to make the list and really good Yes to No ratio compared to others. I find it hard to take the list that seriously when Jeremy Lin makes the list for playing good basketball for a few weeks.

Yeah, seems like they confused 'inspirational' or "I like this person" with influential on that one; same with Adele. I was iffy on Colbert, but when you think about it, I think he actually has influence over political views for those in the collegiate / young adult age range. Making his points with suave and comedy doesn't hurt either. There have been a couple of things he's said that I just flat out disagree with, but the way he did it made me think about it a second time. This strength also becomes a weakness though. When you consistently mock people in front of a cheering audience you can fall prey to only hearing your own viewpoint. That's what happened to Bill O'Rielly.

Even if Levine had made it I wouldn't have been able to take the list seriously when Anonymous can make it on.
