The Smithsonian American Art Museum is having an exhibition on video games - http://www.americanart.si.edu/exhibi...ve/2012/games/ - which Bioshock got voted in on. For their opening weekend they are having a Gamesfest which includes a panel which the panel page has Ken being a part -- http://www.americanart.si.edu/calend...tid%3D98311728 and here is the Gamesfest schedule - http://www.americanart.si.edu/exhibi...ames/gamefest/ .

Definitely looks like an interesting weekend if your close by and wanted to see the exhibit!

Saw the two panels yesterday! Both the evolution and future of games were really good! Would talk more about them and the exhibit but need to get my day going down here!

Here is a link to the media page to check out the panels -

It was really cool, both panels were really good. The first one Evolution of games was really good and I didn't grow up on some of the games they were discussing, though I do remember playing Utopia when I was a kid, the whole panel was pretty funny. The second panel with Ken was really good as well. The whole Gamesfest was pretty good, heard 8 bit weapon and triforce quartet for the first time which was pretty cool. Glad I was able to go down there for events but yeah I'd have chosen PAX East as well if I had to pick one!

What "Evolution of video games"? all i am seeing is a devolution, well in gameplay terms anyway.

And playing System Shock 2, then Bioshock after is the definitive example of that.
