    "Beyond the sea" from sinatra or Bobby Darin ?

    The title basicaly says it, is the song used in bioshock from Frank Sinatra or Bobby Darin ?

    Im sure somebody can help me with this.

    A French guy called Charles Trenet made the song famous with the Title 'La Mer'.

    The version you're thinking of is Bobby Darin (@ mid 50s).

    Sinatra, as far as I know never recorded it.

    Almost positive the vocal is Darin's version. The instrumental is, I believe, by Django Reinhardt, a legendary French jazz guitarist backed by an orchestra.
