I finally got my Bioshock collection displayed the way I wanted and took some pictures. I don't have artistic ability like Magicmaker or some other community members have shown when displaying their collection, so I found a book shelf I like and cased the important pieces up (Website for the cases - http://www.displaycaseart.com/ - really good work and customer service). The collection has been about 2 years in the making and I've gotten pieces from Bioshock 2's viral campaign/collector's edition, my Neca bunny splicer mask autographed at PAX East, ebay/charity auctions, commissioned work, take2store, and one special great gift! You may notice some of JoeofWar's figures here, great artist who has done some great work for me! I may put some of the Neca figures I have on the bottom shelf which is open at the moment, and I have one more custom piece in mind before I think I am done!

That is a wonderful collection and a beautiful set up. I recognize the figures from JoeofWar. I do not recognize the film style poster.... care to elaborate on that item?

    Smashing collection, really.

I got that print from here - http://ron-guyatt.deviantart.com/journal/36194607/. It's a great print, I will say this though he says allow 4-6 weeks for delivery and it literally took 6 weeks and a few days (was only coming from Canada to NY) It states no refunds for lost shipments, it came just took a long time.

That record I got from the Something in the sea viral campaign from Bioshock 2. Hard to come by now, but every now and then they are up on ebay and can be had a lot cheaper than they once were. Reminds me my Bioshock 2's limited edition record is sitting in the case, kind of wish it was small like the one I have on my wall, still may try and find a case for to hang that.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Yeah cases/frames def help the most unusual collection stand out as art as nerdy or not the norm it maybe, a good amount of my friends have no idea really what those items are from yet take a good look when they come by anyway to check it out. More importantly cases/frames protect my collection and makes it way easier to dust! Word of warning though stuff like shadow boxes is a pain, I got two custom shadow boxes from online and was going to try and mount the masks myself, well after a sorry attempt I just brought the boxes and masks to a frame shop and was like, please do this for me, I want it done right. Bioshock and Tampa Bay Bucs memorabilia are two big things I've collected and enjoy to this extreme. Everyone should try and collect something I say!

Very nice! I love the fact that you have everything protected from dust. That's my personal pet peeve. Nothing ruins a great display like two inches of dust bunnies.

I like the display boxes as well. On a slightly different note I admire your shelves too

Lots of fantastic items in there!

Are any of the masks from the Bioshock 2 Speedy Brothers delivery?

I got one of those bad boys and after seeing you collection I desperately need to display it!

That's really an amazing collection. I can't believe that you not only own JoeofWar's custom figures, along with the custom 12-inch Sander Cohen from The Underground Studio, but the I.G. statues as well.

I need to make myself a proper display for my collection, especially when it's currently on a industrial shelf with other collectibles.

As a self proclaimed Sander Cohen fanatic I must say I am truly amazed at your collection, and it is top notch for lack of a better phrase.

Yup the mask on the middle shelf I received from the Speedy Brothers, believes its called the Water Dragon mask. Def one of the most surprising visits I ever got to my house! Was either one of the first or could even be the first thing I got.

Yeah this collection has been a few years in the making, keep your eyes open and you never know where or when you could find something. Finding the room and then the shelving or whatever you want to display it on is really a hard part in my opinion. I had some of the items displayed elsewhere in my apt but a good amount were kept under wraps in boxes to keep them protected until I found the room, cases, and shelf I wanted.

1 of 26 Rosie helmets which light up were created by Nightmare Armor studios -- for Gamestop managers who got the most pre-orders for Bioshock (I believe).

The helmets are very cool. A manager near me had one on display for a while. I knew it was a Gamestop promotional thing but didn't know the details or just how limited they were. Nice find!

    Some details on the helmet:

The flyer says 20 were commissioned, but I've also heard that number at 26. They're a lot lighter then they look, made from some sort of sturdy foam/plastic with a shiny lacquer coat. The front and side "portholes" light up blue.

I think the busted white rabbit mask is the coolest looking part you've got there. Very cool display setup.

Good point, I should beef up security with some bots and turrets. All I got now is two attack cats!

Thanks! One of these days I'll get around to posting what I've gotten for Bioshock Infinite so far which consists of 4 posters and the 3 GameInformer magazines matted and framed.
