Alright, I obviously have a dirty mind. No one looked at redfrog's second image and had inappropriate thoughts?

Awesome picture especially something that you did just playing around while watching football!

... I am about half way finished with a poster. I had most of the vectors done last night and Illustrator crashed on my lap top...

    Save, save, save...

    BTW, awesome as usual RedFrog!

I did, but wasn't pointing that out for the simple fact that it is an awesome piece! Well done, and it would look better than the shirts I have for Bioshock.

Haha it is awesome, I agree on that. I just can't see the Little Sister's feet so it looks like she is a little tooooo cloooose to the Big Daddy's...um...man parts.

I definitely dig the woodcut style though.

    Here's a splicer I did from Bioshock 2...

I want to make an Elizabeth sort of like this, and its somewhat in progress, but not close to done.

I posted it in the Photoshop section, but I couldnt figure out how to make it show in the post, so here gos!

I also have this Radio Transmission frame I made from Bioshock...

I wonder if they will use something similar to the radio in Infinite, although I've read Ken Levine wont be using his "old tricks" like NPC's behind glass and such, so maybe there will be more in game dialogue ala Red Dead Redemption.

I like in the first one how it's clearly referencing Bioshock, but still your own

    Great Job Dr.

Here is a poster tribute, I tried to keep it era correct. Working on a series, then hopefully work them into a full scene.

Wanted to give a little history and a tip of the hat to Fontaine. A grandfather perhaps...

    Whoa man, thats awesome!

I really dig this, its very subtle, very time appropriate and imaginative.

I think it looks even more authentic to the time than the recently released propaganda posters, well done!

    Thanks everybody!

I work as a graphic artist, but rarely get to do anything Im really interested in. So Bioshock has really inspired me over the past few years, thats how good it is!

I want to do an Elizabeth but am a little stuck, so if anyone might have any cool ideas or scenarios to put her in, let me know!

    @drhhholmes

    awesome pieces

maybe you could have Elizabeth interacting with Him (that big bird thing), like on the Game Informer cover

Dr. H -- I can tell, haha! Those colors are to die for. I think what I love the best about the Splicer pic is that you captured the real "face" of Rapture... a fabulous juxtaposition of tragedy, beauty, and hideousness. Love it.

Right now I'm envisioning Elizabeth standing against the sun (perhaps on a high ledge), hair whipped up, focal point on her eyes (good intense gaze), her arms stretched out. She might be levitating objects or surrounded by crows. Him might be hangin' out behind her somewhere (perhaps He'd be the one blocking out the sun, looming right above her... hmm). That would be sweet.

Or perhaps running on a roof against the sky with Him soaring beside her...

Whatever you make, it's gonna be awesome. I'll definitely be watching.

Fearscythe, that's quite the poster. I love the homage to the first two games as well. Keep up the great work!

    Hey Everyone!

I've been away from the forums for a while, but thought I'd add this here.

It's a digital painting of Elizabeth, I wasn't quite able to finish it, but I think it looks ok as is.

That's really fantastic work although the pose makes me think she's confused, about to use an ability and has to go potty all at the same time.

Haha, I see what you mean about the pose. It was meant to be more of a losing balance in the wind sort of thing. But yeah, it would have been nice to finish it with her using her powers and whatnot, I just don't see a time when I can get back to it.

Still though blown away. Is this all done on the computer or do you use a digital pad as a medium? What was left to work on besides (seemingly) her right hand?

    Again...awesome stuff! +1 (i'd give more if i could)

THAT IS SO GREAT!!! I LOVE IT!!!! and doing that in ms paint must have taken you forever!

I've been working on a handyman hand for a while and it is getting pretty close to done now. I know from the podcast interview that it was originally supposed to be made out of porcelain but that just isn't practical and from the looks of http://images.wikia.com/bioshock/ima...xclusive03.jpg and the game play footage that things have changed. I chose to make mine primarily out of wood, but I'm unsure about what the bracer is / should be made out of (my best guess is stone or porcelain still). Any insight or comments welcome (it is still a work in progress).
