Characters:
-Character Sharing: Characters should be saved as an separate file we should be able to share on the internet.
-We should be able to choose weight and resistance by ourselves. Material should be defined by our resistances.
Abilities:
-Custom Descriptions: We should be able to descript our abilities as we wish.
-Chain Abilities: after casting an special, the character should cast another ability automatically, right away, for example, a character teleports at the target and shoots him with a projectile, or creates a clone and both shoot a cone at the target direction.
-New Projectile: Boomerang: A projectile that passes through units, hits its target and returns to its caster. Has damage reduction per target hit.
-New Beam: Pull/Push: A Beam that pulls any target to you/pulls them towards the target, no knockback damage dealt.
-New Special: Summon Custom Character: Summons a character. The Character can be chosen by you and must be custom. Ability cost equal to Character Cost/2.
-New Special: Illusion: Summons a clone of yourself that does not do ANY damage, nor effects, stun, but has the same stats as you.
-New Damage types: Sonic, Fire Burn, Ice Chill.
Multiplayer:
-Having a 4-man team instead of each player having his own 4-person team
-Choosing character cost, varying from 4000 to 10000
-Players should be able to mission against the Ai.
Other:
-Upon finishing a mission, all characters should level up.
-The game should provide extra characters meshes, projectiles, cones, etc. although they are not used by any original character.

I think perfect the first game, but the first game need some changes from second. For example when the enemy attack your characters, they defend themselves and attack back automatic

I'd like to see a whole bunch of super-villains to take on. The FF series has given us some fun villains, and I'd love to see more of them (it's one of my favorite things about other super-hero games like "X-Men Legends" and "Ultimate Alliance").

I'd love to see a "new" game moved outta the 60's and into the modern era for starters. And a real boost in the overall look of the game...no more low-poly meshes with better textures, dynamic lighting and FX, larger environments ect. As for in game abilities...I'd like to see mid-air melee(hand to hand) combat.

Modern era. Bleh. The '60s feel was why I got into FF in the first place.
Some of these ideas are rad. Some of them are... Well gosh, I had FFX so long I forgot what the actual game featured. FFX added illusion and summon, I know.
To the original poster, you can save hero files and share them over the internet. I can't recall where they are located now (especially with the FFvsTR/windows games thing), but I think they end in .hero so you could search that.
I also agree with the weight/resistances thing. Plus material type.
I know there were two fields of thought on resistances/material thing. One were people who chose the material based on what resistances they gave (so Colossus could end up stone or something) and the other, which I fell into, chose the correct material type and tried to get the resistances right through other traits. But this was, actually, kind of silly work wise. Took up sweet, precious attribute space.
Having it all customizable (with cost changing accordingly) would be rad. I guess "material type" makes it mostly cosmetic but then things like a metal character being pulled around by magnet powers that don't affect other people could still be included.

And fingers...for god sake....meshes with fingers!
