    Civ V CTD

    I cant start the game or it crash in the intro movie
    what i tried so far
    -steam
    -no steam
    -reinstall
    -skip intro
    -window mode
    -resolution chnage
    but non of them work

    Strange but the OP's dxdiag info is all greyed out.

    Maybe others can comment but your CPU may be an issue. From what I understand the miinimum required Core 2 Duo and your G620 Pentium CPU are similar in many ways but not the same in some critical aspects that the game may need. Your GPU is good but it needs a suitable CPU to drive it.

    You haven't said if you get the first menu screen to come up where you select DX9 or what kind of crash you get (blue screen? freeze?) and how you recover (reboot?, task manager?).

    If you have installed the game properly and have verified the game cache using Steam to ensure the files are good, and you do get the start menu, select dx9 but then it crashes, its simply your system hardware not being able to run the Civ V .exe (your crash records should confirm this). As the game loads during the video, having video on or off would not make a difference as it would crash either way. Based on the limited content you have provided, it would seem simply your system can't play this game.

    It just crash to desktop after the dx9select . Thx for making it clear i will just try find somewhere else to play the game
