Problem With Borderlands and Playstation freezing

Everytime i play, at least 3 times each time i play, my game freezes. It'll freeze when the page is loading for either travel or starting the game up. I have a digital download i purchased and have had these issues ever since i downloaded it, any suggestions?

This happens to me quite a bit as well. Unfortunately, I don't know what can be done to remedy the problem. Sometimes it's caused by poor internet signal strength. However, on a single-player game, I don't know what causes this problem.
