Pangea plus achievement?

Hi all, have a quick question for you.

If I win the game on pangea plus, does it unlock the "Going It Old School - Beat the game on a Pangaea-type Map"-achievement?

Reason why I'm asking is that I've found it much more rewarding when you get 2-3 achievements per game, keeps me going to the end and trying harder to win. I'm missing the Going it old school since I dislike pangea map type, so I'd like to try pangea plus instead. Thanks in advance.

No it doesn't, you have to win on the traditional pangea map to unlock the achievement.

well it didn't fire for me until I won on the plain pangea map..so I haven't tested this extensively

Yeah, already decided to play on original pangea just to be sure. Didn't turn out to be such a boring map after all. Thanks for your advice.
