I left the game cause I was under the impression you had glitched and consequently kiled the cruiser containing three vet tank armies and then taken what would of been your best city, call me cynical if you will perhaps I've spent too long playing along with ranked matches.

I was still slightly kind of ticked off after u sent that "kid" message. But, i was going to leave it alone until u implied i was cheating. I hate when people don't understand something about game then just assume the other person is cheating without letting that person explain how it works. That's why i sent back that "kid" comment. I was pissed. First u call me "kid" then u imply i was cheating.
As I just explained given the circumstances in which it occurred , I was under the impression you had so why would I carry on? I take a man on his word and you say you didn't so that was good enough for me but rather than just leave it at you won you found it necessary to tell everyone thinking that they'll take your side and oust me.. which may well happen as i'm the new guy.

1 thing about Democracy, me myself i will always wait in a turn im in demo and on the attack, to give my opponent the chance to ask for peace. This avoids the *busy* message as much as possible. To avoid this in the future, just dont bother to attack while in demo, all the players here are good enough to understand they will ask for peace whenever this occurs.
I wasn't trying to get anyone to take my side or try to get them to "oust" u. I was just saying that someone should explain to u exactly what "demo glitching" is. Put simply it's when someone in demo government let's your diplomacy request time out so they can stay at war with u while continuing to get benefit of 50% trade. When u get the "I'm busy" message back it means they are actually busy with something and they might not even know you sent a request. This was the case in our game. I'm not quite sure when u even sent request. Just a misunderstanding. Let's just forget about it and move on.
Also Ray, the person who is in demo does not have to accept peace on same turn u attack. They get a full turn to counter according to forum rules.

I know what the demo glitch is, i'm aware of the rules I read them before entering, I dipped at the start of the turn even though according to the rule I could of done it in the previous turn as soon as I had taken my city back as the war wasn't started in that turn, I've tried to be as fair as possible in every game I've played previously this has resulted in me losing I haven't asked for a rematch in any occasions even when I've probably been more than within my rights to do so, you was pissed, so was I, anyways like I said you win, i'm not discussing this any further I feel like i'm back at school.
It doesnt matter when the war started, you took the city back, then you can ask for peace the following turn.

My germans beat Xtony his french.
I walk for abit and find Japan just above me and Egypte below me. I walk in on Japan and take egypte with a HA. Meet russian AI abit later but i blackmailed them for 25g to get my 100g settler.
A barb shows me 7cities but Xtony is faster then me.
He declares war on the russians so i cant get them anymore so i start my warrior buildup.
I setup 3 barack cities each with 10+ production making a WA each turn.
He gets 2 GB and makes Collosus and GW. The GW was pretty early to stop my rush i suppose. I was gonna rush him with legions, but i guess i had to wait now. I expanded well, made 2 more barrrack cities and have about 14 cities without ever using republic.
I do enough beakers to get engineering in 2 turns, and with a GS i drop 30+ KA right in the middle off his territory. His 1 KA was overwhelmedWin for me.

My russians beat his germans. settle on second turn and take down 1 flag barb for 50 gold send out second warrior and second barb gives be boat third barb gives 40 gold i cash in boat and have 100 gold around 3300 bc. make 2 horse armies and dominate the map. make my self some space spread out to 14 cities by 0 ad and hit democracy. get monarchy invention steam power and gs industrialization at 500 b.c. game was over before that. felt like a ranked game or something.anyway cruiser fleet and 2 cat armies cleaned him up. gg ray

Just 2 cat armies? Where were his mass Knights? or atleast Legions?
I got slaughtered, I was plodding along was just about to take Tokyo when his horse army showed up and killed my WA before I got a chance to heal, that was the end really, I flipped Tokyo hoping it would have some form of attack in it and I could take his city next door and mount some form of offence but it only had a single archer, very deflating, before I knew it he was on 19 techs and rushed industrialisation. I bet 10 elite legion armies would have stopped him teching

That was a restart game I froze first game but to be fair he kicked my ass that one too he was on fire.
I edited a post wasn't thinking, I beat xtoni my Germans v his English, was going for a world bank win when he stole David from my cap that annoyed me had like 18 cities so moved all current buildings to knights and crushed him
Also I want to apologise to Angelus I knew the sunshine comment would piss you off so I took advantage of the knowledge, I really wasn't accusing you of cheating I was just super irate cause I was on for the win with that game after a laboured comeback after you flipped my second city, I should of waited for a reply and shouldn't of quit out, my bad.

I was enjoying it thoroughly. It could've gone either way. The relatively early EiC and CoR you got is what made me struggle so much. I was barely able to keep up. If i hadn't at least beat you to industrialization you would've won for sure cause u did beat me to corp. I just barely got tanks in time to combat yours. I'm not sure what city flip you're referring to. I didn't flip any of your cities but you flipped 1 of my dye cities.

It was a good game if it hadn't of gifted you cannons when took the most southern city you would definitely of fallen too far behind by the time you had learnt combustion

Roman(ray) Vs France(japyaknees) lost again, I was just on the verge of spitting out some settlers when a HA drops on my door step spent the next 8/9 goes using all my gold defending the city by the time I fluked a single archer victory over his upgraded HA think he had gone too far ahead I wasn't learning any tech due to the HA incident and had 0 gold in the pot, game over.
Russian(ray) Vs Greek(Martin) got off too a good star and was able to found second turn could see four barbs one showed me AoC so rushed for horseback and took two Mongolian cities got AoC with five cities,... Fast forwarding Martin rushed steam power and found Atlantis he was 22 techs to my 19 had a quick look at tech page and noticed he hadn't learnt indust so use gs on that and immediately saw cruiser army, with a lucky landing battle I win Pikeman 4.5 v knights army 9, this gives me enough time to to learn gunpowder and corp, then learn cannons tanks, steal half way through tanks and make a battleship army and tank army at pretty much the same time, took first city Martin concedes

Congrats. You broke your losing streak playing against a very good player. But, 3 naval units formed together are called a "fleet" not an army.
Ha ha I thought I put fleet, yeah it was a decent game, I got 7C quite late on in the game which was a massive boost cause it gave me 350g I rushed a few libraries to make sure I got gunpowder in good time, Martin was basically trapped at the bottom of the map though he didn't get the best of starts
Did my 2 games with tcseow. Game 1- My french beat his english...Well actually, the barbarians beat him, lol. In 3500bc. Game 2- His germans lost to my russians. He settled on second rurn, iirc. I walked a lot longer. Settled around 3400 bc. Built 2 warriors. Got a little gold. Teched hbr. Ran into romans around 3000 bc. Sold them hbr. Took'em out soon after getting BW. I get my vet HA on hill close to Rome and spot 2 german horses. Tcseow retreats them. Meet zulu. They get KT but i kill it with my HA making thdm elite with march upgrade. Got it just in time too. Next turn a german vet HA appears within few tiles of Rome. I had an archer fortifying in a forest beside Rome. Tcseow decided not to attack it and either find another way around or go hunt an AI. But my march HA was within 3 tiles of his HA. So i kiled it 9-4.5. Tcseow concedes soon after. Neither game was anything spectacular but i appreciate those barbs helping me out in game 1 against a superior civ. Got 1 of my french games out of the way.
Played game 1 vs xToni_Montana. My Russia defeats his Greeks. Very lackluster game. He says he tried settler walking but was blocked by a barb so he had to settle in a spot far away from action on a peninsula. I picked up around 60 gold walking. Finally settled in middle of map. Rushed 1 warrior. Teched hbr. Got my 100 gold 2 turns before finishing it. Took out germans with a vet HA (forget year). Hammer out settler from Berlin. So had 4 cities fairly early. Spotted SoC and AoC but xToni decides to give up.
first time i encountered a weird barbarian behaviour in both game vs star.
1st game, i took down 1 population of barbarian then went to frenly hut in a few tiles away, usually barbarian will only attack u when they are having 3 population, however this 1 was really weird, with 1 population, the barbarian came to attack my capital.
2nd game, the barbarian left their village empty to chase my horseman.
