Reading this made me sign up (ps3; my name is the same as my psn account let me know if you want to play.). But I will say for a thread that is supposed to be welcoming newcomers the thread getting off track by critiquing small grammatical errors isn't very welcoming.

English is a second language for some posters. People post from their phones which often is hard to do and/or spell check makes errors.
If you guys are referring to the couple of posts by thrasher, I read them as nothing more than humor. He knows fine well English is SVPM's second language. He's one of the most helpful people here. It's the internet - don't take things to heart.

Welcome to the forums, most of the people talking about grammatical errors are just sharing their own personal stories.....I dont think anybodies intent was to critique other people unless it was a joke....Although jokes dont always translate past the language barrier so thats understandable. Anyways no worries mate its nice to have you here and dont feel bad if you mess up a little grammar.....morte posted on here for years before he could fluently speak english and that never effected the respect for him or his strategies..

The artcle was dated April 2011. Are there any new development since? Or is it confirmed? No, we don't have anything other than speculation. when i got civ5 last year.. i didnt really see any glitches/bugs.. if they did, they were pretty minor i would say...

I think its an easy money maker to make a new civ rev. they dont need to completly redesign it just fix all the bugs and redo the graphics and all thye standard thins that one would change when making a new release to make it credible.Hi all, I know what I am about to say is not related to the thread but I was reading this article about Civilization Revolution 2. Pretty much everyone who got civ rev will get the rev II and be reasonably ok with that it isnt a quantum leap - that would be less true of there were other similar games poping up everywhere like first person shooters etc.
They could even release it as a download sans disc—I would love to not have to deal with that.
Despite the fact that I've been a forum member for a while I feel like a lurker. I'll try to do better Grizzley. :-) I more take in the knowledge and wisdom but I'll try to join the convo more where appropriate.
Speaking to Civ Rev 2 I posted recently in the Civ Rev 2 Wishlist thread. After talking to some 2k guys at E3 doesn't seem like well be getting it anytime soon. :-(
